This is a unique opportunity to connect with nature and admire the village from a different perspective. The activity and route are designed to be easy, allowing participants to paddle through the village’s canals and pass under bridges, reminiscent of a gondola ride in Venice. During the journey, there will be opportunities to take photos or videos, with a stop at ‘Island Terrai. For those not in a rush, an aperitif can be enjoyed at bars located along the main canal.
Peschiera del Garda is a “comune” (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region of Italy. It is the westernmost municipality of the region, with its territory bordering the provinces of Brescia and Mantua. It also serves as the starting point of a 43.5 km cycle path that follows the towpaths of the Mincio River, connecting the cities of Peschiera del Garda and Mantua. If traveling the north-south route, the journey begins at the railway viaduct of Peschiera del Garda. The path starts on the right bank of the Mincio, crossing to the left in the municipality of Monzambano, at the Salionze dam.

With the guidance of the assigned instructor, participants can tailor their experience, perhaps extending the duration or pausing longer to savor the enchanting sunset at one of the many bars along the main canal. Complimentary items include a hat, sunglasses, and a watertight bag to keep documents and other items dry. It is recommended to arrive at the location 10 minutes before the activity begins. If traveling from another town on Lake Garda, consider taking a ferry directly to the port of Peschiera del Garda. The meeting point is approximately 2 km from the port. For those driving, convenient parking is available along the road or directly at the port.
