Beautiful and Memorable Day in the Douro Valley - We toured the Douro Valley with Andreia and her husband Valdemar three weeks ago and had a WONDERFUL day! With Valdemar carefully driving the narrow winding roads of the Douro Valley, Andreia could concentrate on sharing with us her extensive knowledge of the history, culture, and wines of the Douro Valley. We stopped at two fabulous family-owned quintas that each provided a background into their history and production and leisurely and delicious tastings. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant that provided one of the best (if not best) meal we had in Portugal. A special bonus was Andreia and Valdemar joined us for the meal (not always done by tour guides we found) and that allowed for much more conversation about life in the Douro Valley. It was a wonderful meal with friends. And I must mention the scenery and one hour boat trip were beautiful. To begin our tour, Andreia picked us up at the Regua train station after we had taken the train from Porto that morning. Our return to Porto that evening was equally easy. Andriea’s tour was a wonderful experience, and we sincerely treasure the time we spent with her and her husband. We HIGHLY recommend her tour.

Perfect Personal Tour - Andreia & Valdemar are local Douro and grew up in the valley. Their knowledge of and lifelong familiarity with Douro's culture and history really grounded our vineyard and winery experience. And they are so much fun. We all talked, asked questions of each other, and learned so much about the making of port wine AND Portuguese wine. We visited wonderful, smaller vineyards/wineries. Fabulous!

Our Favorite Tour in Portugal! - Andreia was an excellent guide and I can't recommend her tour enough! Douro Valley is an incredible place and Andreia's tour makes it such a memorable experience. Its clear she put a lot of thought and effort into this tour and is so attentive towards her guests. She makes it so personal, the group was small, the service was great, and Andreia is really knowledgeable and passionate about the area! We were a little worried about the weather as it had a chance of rain, but she restructured the day to make sure we did the rabelo boat tour during the nicest part. It was a small, intimate ride on a traditional rabelo boat with a local captain which was great (we had booked our own boat tour the day before with a company our hotel recommended and it was a big crowded boat, so this was a much more unique experience!). Overall, we visited 2 family owned Quintas and tasted great wine as well as toured the cellars at both, we had an incredible lunch at a local restaurant (which also includes wine!), did a rabelo boat ride, stopped at a nice viewpoint which we enjoyed even though it was overcast, and enjoyed the amazing views during the drives between the stops. This is a can't miss experience to enjoy Douro Valley through the eyes of a local. The whole day felt authentic and wonderful and I am so thankful we found Andreia. This was by far our favorite tour throughout our entire trip in Portugal!

Great all day wine tour, one of the best we’ve done - Amazing wine tour! We were picked up in Lamego and enjoyed an amazing day with Andreia and her husband! Fantastic hosts from start to finish. Very knowledgeable of the area and great connections with the local wineries. We have been on many wine tours in France, Canada, etc and this may have been the best one we’ve ever done. Highly recommend Over the larger companies etc. loved it!

A great visit to the Douro Valley! - We had a wonderful day in the Douro Valley! Andreia and her husband thoughtfully planned our visit - everything from picking my family and I up in their spacious van (and even providing car seats for my little ones!) to making last minute changes when the weather didn’t cooperate for a boat ride. They provided snacks, water bottles, and even a buggy and coloring pages for my little ones so we could enjoy the wine tasting. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience, highly recommend! - Andreia and Valdemar planned a wonderful day for us in the Duoro Valley. They picked us up at our hotel, planned a full day of activities and returned us to the hotel at the end of the day. We visited two Quintas with tastings, made a few stops during the day and they coordinated a lunch reservation for us as well. It was nice to be able to fully enjoy the day and not have to worry about any details (just what wine and port to purchase!). Learned a lot about the area and port wine! Highly recommend!

Unforgettable tour of Douro Valley - We cannot say enough about our amazing tour of the Douro Valley with Andreia and Valdemar. They truly made our day magical. They were both so passionate and knowledgable about this region where they are both from and went out of her way to accommodate us. They picked us up and took us to two different wineries - one small and one larger so we could have 2 unique experiences, treated us to a relaxing boat ride down the Douro river and brought us to a delicious local restaurant for lunch where the staff was so welcoming and engaging! They took us to a beautiful lookout location at the end of the day to watch the sunset. There is not a single thing I would change - completely exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone coming to the region. Thank you thank you Andreia and Valdemar - we will be back!

a tour you must not miss - great duoro tour you must not miss! andreia and valdemar show you many spots in the beautiful duoro valley, they are locals and authentic and show you sightseeings and wineries you will never forget. they just started 3 weeks ago with their service, even though it is very professional, we can recommend this tour very much! corinne & markus
