Andreia and Valdemer... - Andreia and Valdemer created a truly magical and unforgettable experience for us in Douro Valley. They picked us up right from our accommodations and took us to three amazing quintas, all family owned and each with very unique histories and winemaking practices. We also enjoyed a wonderful, authentic Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. Having grown up in the area, Andreia is so knowledgeable about the region and shared a tremendous amount of information that we wouldn't have learned elsewhere. She also went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and comfortable throughout the day. I have Celiac disease so I need to follow a strict gluten free diet, and Andreia went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe for me to consume. She took great photos of us at each location. Valdemer was a wonderful co-host and expertly drove us all over the valley, allowing us to fully take in the beautiful scenery. If you're visiting Douro I strongly recommend booking with Andreia and Valdemer for a truly special, comprehensive tour of the valley.

Best day in the Duoro Valley - Andreia and Valdemar made this tour one of the best we’ve ever done! We loved the wineries that they chose to visit, lunch was fantastic, and we stopped at several great viewpoints along the way. The entire day was fantastic, and our guides really made it even better. From the moment they picked us up they were so friendly and welcoming, it really made us feel like we were family. I would very highly recommend this tour (and any others that Andreia and Valdemar offer) to everyone. We would love to come back to spend more time in the Duoro Valley and would absolutely book with them again. Thank you so much for the best start to our vacation!

Highly Recommend! - We had the best time spending the day wine tasting and touring the beautiful Douro valley with Andreia and Vlademar. Andreia was so knowledgeable, communicative and took care of everything. We were so glad we booked this because we never would have known about these small and amazing wineries otherwise and everyone we met at each stop was so welcoming. We were able to relax and take in the beautiful scenery and Andreia always made sure we had everything we needed. It was a bit rainy but Vlademar was a great driver and knew the best spots to take us for photos.
We would highly recommend this to anyone trying to make the most of their visit to Douro - it was the highlight of our trip!

Absolutely Wonderful Tour - I am not a person to leave reviews usually, but I want to take some time to tell everyone about how wonderful Andreia, Valdemar and this tour is.
This was our first time in the Duoro Valley.
They picked us up in the morning from our hotel ( and we're even early) and we spent the day exploring beautiful views points as well as visiting small family owned wineries. Each winery they took us to had a person explaining their processes to us and it fantastic wine tastings of red, white and port wines, as well as olive oils. By the end of the day, we were both feeling satisfied as well as like we got a great overview of life in Duoro.
Both Andreia and Valdemar are fun and energetic tour guides, who have vast knowledge of not only wine in Douro, but specifically the culture and the Duoro Valley itself, as they both grew up there.
The lunch was delicious and filling and a full experience of typical, traditional Portugese food. Very high quality.
Their driving was great, as I was a bit nervous, given the road designs in the Duoro valley. We asked questions all day long and they always were there to answer and very enthusiastic. Say always offered to take pictures for us.So we got ones together that usually we aren't able to do.
I can only recommend this tour. It was worth every penny, and i'm hoping to be able to come back another time and do a second round with them. They are not your typical tour guides. But much more knowledgeable and personable.

Dream day in the Douro - Amazing tour was an understatement. We had an exceptional day with Andreia and Valdemar visiting 3 different types of Quinta. Each Quinta was different and we particularly enjoyed the time at Roncão learning about the origins of this property and the owners' efforts to retain historic roots while producing high quality product. Being able to see the Douro from great vantage points and eating a delicious Portugese lunch added to our experience. We learned a lot about Douro ports, wines and olive oils. Learning about ports and wines of the Douro - Well, it was beyond amazing! This tour was a highlight of our trip - from our timely pick-up, variety of the 3 Quinta we visited, sights of the Douro, and the authentic Portugese lunch. Andreia and Valdemar were excellent hosts and guides who shared their love and knowledge of the valley, wine/port production, current challenges of the region and introduced us to great regional delicacies during lunch. We never felt rushed, and appreciated our very small group (just 4 that day). It was a full day and worth every penny/centîme

Amazing day in the Duoro Valley! - We had an AMAZING day in the Duoro Valley with Andreia and Valdemar! They took the best care of our group. We loved the two wineries we visited, the beautiful stops we made, and the boat ride. The lunch was one of the best meals we have had our entire time in Portugal. We loved everything about our tour!

Highlight of our Portugal trip! - Had an amazing day in the Douro valley with Andreia Douro Tours. We were picked up at our hotel in the Douro valley in her Mercedes-Benz van. We opted for a small group tour and had one other couple join us for the day. Went to Two wineries, had a delicious lunch… Probably the best lunch of our trip in Portugal… Followed by a boat ride. Andreia has a passsion for her job and is very knowledgeable about the area. You will not be disappointed. Well worth the money. Will call her again next time I am there!!

a tour through the touro valley that you should not miss - Andreia & Valdemar's tour was recommended to us by my parents and met or exceeded all our expectations. We really enjoyed the day with so many impressions and the ideal group constellation and learnt a lot about the history and current events in the Doura Valley. I can highly recommend this tour & the price is also very justified with everything included. Thank you for the great experience!
