Incredible experience! - What an incredible experience! I felt so I alive and invigorated after this hike! Both the driver and tour guide were amazing- so knowledgeable and spoke so well. The hike was quite difficult for me at first (aged 57) as there were a lot of steep stairs to walk up at first but then it got much easier. Definitely worth it!

Sensational rim walk - The whole trip was amazing. Hayley, Glen and Mitch were awesome guides with a great delivery of all the stories they told, making the long bus trip entertaining. We did the rim walk and felt safe and supported the whole time. Too many sensational views and landscape to pick the most memorable. If I had to pick one it would be the Dead Sea ripples, very humbling.

The climb, the gorge, the gums, the ochre, the beauty. It’s more than visual, it’s a feeling and feast for all senses. - What an incredible landscape this is. Be immersed in ochre and marvel at the distant landscapes that inspired Albert Namatjira. But it was the ghost gums for me. Their resilience and beauty is simply breathtaking.

Long Day full of stunning sights - This was a very early start from our motel at 4.45AM, bus ride to breakfast at Kings Creek station, an authentic station on route to the Rim walk, lovely breakie, animals to see, gift shop, loos etc The rim walk is VERY hard, you are given the option at the 200th step to go back down, no rails and stone steps, i found it too challenging even with a good fitness level but dislike of heights, so i went back and done the base walk and it was delightful. my husband done the rim walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. ... we meet up for lunch at Kings creek resort, a hotel and servo both serving meals and souvenirs! we traveled on AAT Kings coach, on way home stopping at a few vantage points for pics, and a short stop for refreshments at Curtain Springs a servo/Pub.

Fun day at the Canyon - Tour guide and bus driver were great and made the day fun! Both had good knowledge of the area. The tour guide and bus driver did a great job to make sure we were safe.

Great way to visit Kings Canyon - This full-day return trip from Uluṟu to the spectacular Kings Canyon was wonderful, well-planned and full of things to see and do, despite the distance. Leaving early in the morning from Uluṟu, the tour starts in earnest with an excellent buffet breakfast and then on to the Canyon where you can chose between two guided walks - the arduous rim walk or the much easier creek walk. Those choosing the creek then have an opportunity to have a short helicopter ride (not included in the tour price). Bus driver Mitch and guides Chloe and Mitch were all excellent, well informed and well organised. Kings Canyon is breathtaking from the ground and the air, and this well-designed one-day tour is a great way to see it.

Great addition to see the Outback - Great way to see more of the Outback and geological formations of the Northern Territory. We even saw the other rock formation that’s part of Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa Domes and one of the salt lake beds.

Great experience - This was a glorious day from the 4:30am start to the 5:30 drop off. Our two guides Mitch and Michelle were knowledgeable, excellent story tellers, and ran the outing with great humor. I took the short walk with Mitch. He was generous with his knowledge and imparted it skillfully. The walk itself was stunningly beautiful.

Early start but well worth it. Highly recommended - The rim walk was great as was Michelle as tour guide. Her patience with people who did not stick with the group and talked over her was outstanding. Her knowledge and commentary added to the experience. Only reason 5 stars not given was that the breakfast was a bit disappointing - ran out of sausages and hash browns before we got to the food (although more came out later but after we had finished. International Roast coffee should be improved.

The only option if you don't have your own transport. Kings Canyon is nice but not a must see. - Kings Canyon is worth visiting but only if you do the rim hike. If you don't do it you'll feel like you've wasted a day. Our guide Michelle was excellent - a mine of information and knowledge about the area (geology as well as local history and culture), who managed to keep us entertained for hours when there was nothing to look at outside. Breakfast at Kings Creek Station was very good and much appreciated but horribly cold as they serve it in a shed with no heating - I feel like this could be improved slightly for the winter? There were several aspects of the trip that left us feeling a bit disappointed. We felt it was an unnecessarily long day - there was a lot of time spent waiting around and at the lunch stop resort. If they had two drivers maybe we could have had a packed lunch and eaten it on the coach. Also in winter it would be viable to start the hike quite a bit later so leave Yulara much later. It was quite a large group, which meant that the hike took significantly longer as we had to keep stopping to wait for everyone to catch up. We did a few extra diversions on the hike because apparently our group of 18 wasn't as large as it sometimes gets, so bear in mind that you may be missing out on a few things if you're in an even larger group. Regarding the difficulty of the hike - the hardest bit is the first 200 "test" steps and if you have average level of fitness and used to hiking at all, it really isn't difficult in good weather and you shouldn't be put off. I think the guides discourage people because it's a hassle for them if you can't keep up especially in very high temperatures, but you shouldn't feel pressured to turn back because you're having to keep up with the group. Ideally find a way to go independently and then you also have the option to do the South Rim walk instead, which starts in the same place but you come back the same way you go up and only see the canyon from one side instead of both. We didn't see any wildlife at all on the drive, which I was disappointed about so overall I think it would have been a less tiring day (and a lot cheaper) to do the Valley of the Winds walk at Kata Tjuta.
