Perfect. - Nice sailing, beautiful, delicious bathing water, food on board, staff on the ship. Kan anbefales. A boat trip I won't forget.

Relax on the boat and swim in clear water incl. BBQ - We booked this trip through our TUI tour guide Els a friendly young lady. We paid the same price as elsewhere for this excursion “North Lesbos boat trip from Petra with BBQ. (€58,- p.p.) Departed by taxi from Anaxos to Port Petra at about 9.30 am. The journey time was 8 minutes and the cost €10,-. The Mercury Ecpress was docked right next to the Navy Boat in the port of Petra. We were well on time and were therefore lucky to be able to use one of the 18 fine sunbeds on the upper deck. (Tip: come early for a free ViP sunbed on the upper deck) The boat left promptly at 10:00 and we sailed first to Molivos port to pick up some more passengers. After a boat trip of more than 1 hour between the Turkish coast and that of Northern Lesbos we anchored in a kind of bay with crystal clear water and a seabed of white sand. Here we were allowed to swim freely for 2 hours while the captain prepared the meat on the BBQ. Soft drinks and wine were then available unlimitedly in small plastic cups. Everyone got a well-stocked plate with 2 large skewers of chicken/pork and everything that goes with a Greek BBQ. It all tasted really good. After dinner I took my air mattress out on the beautiful water. Don't expect bounty beaches here. The coastal strip is littered with material from immigrants entering Europe. Then the boat left for another place that was 15 minutes away where you could swim among the small fish. Around 16.15 we entered the port of Petra. Here maybe at most 6 boats are behind a security section. It was a very successful excursion and well worth the effort and money.
