To Join us, you need to drive past the only grocery store in Teahupoo called « Magasin Teahupoo ». You keep driving for about 300-500 meters, so you have to drive slow. The marina is located ocean side before a white/green little bridge. Just ask for Teahupoo Adventure when you get there.

Dolphins and surfers - The tour was super good and we were so lucky to see dolphins swimming along our boat a few minutes after leaving the dock. The swell at Tehaupoo wasn’t huge, but still enjoyable to see the wave and surfers trying to barrel it in the flesh. Highly recommended!

Amazing! - Such a great experience seeing Teahupoo from the boat! Our captain was a local who’s been in French Polynesia his whole life and he was a wealth of knowledge! Would 10/10 recommend

See Teahupoo with my own 2 eyes!!! - This trip to see Teahupoo was something I was looking forward to for a decade, and Haunui did not disappoint. The boat was great and he was an incredible tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wave and had great stories to tell. We were parked right on the shoulder to get great views of the wave breaking and the surfers out in the water. I cannot recommend Teahupoo Adventure Tours and Surf enough. Thank you for a great experience.

Outstanding - So happy l the swell was up the first trip up, 4-6 m. Woohoo! Pre Olympics, the vibe and the power of the ocean were incredible. Our wonderful captain got us safely so close and at excellent angles to look down the barrells. He pointed out various surfers, including Kauli Vaast and members of various teams. In excellent French and English he answered questions and humbly talked about his own and other locals' experiences surfing this mythical break. It was a dream come true. Such an awesome experience. The second trip the next day saw more surfers and body boarders tackling the slightly smaller waves. A never to be forgotten experience.

Must do in Tahiti - absolutely amazing!!! - What an amazing trip!! This is where 2024 Olympic surfing is held and we got to watch Olympians practice the surf. Please go with a local expert who knows the waters to navigate the wave. Could have stayed all day to watch. Must do bucket list item for sure!!

Unforgettable last excursion in Polynesia - Superb one-hour excursion to observe the Tehahupo wave, as a family with our 3-year-old son.
We were amazed by it before taking the plane back to Paris.
We had the chance to observe an incredible and majestic wave surfed by a few enthusiasts! A unique experience.
Haunui was exceptional in his kindness, his welcome, his smile and all his shared knowledge.
It was just TOPPPP.
The boat was perfect: comfort and safety (especially for a 3 year old child).
To do and redo! Amazing.

10 out of 10 BEST Tour of Teahupo’o! Book now! - 10 out of 10 recommend Haunui and Teahupo’o Adventures. Haunui is easily one of the kindest humans on the planet. We waited for 2 passengers and he said we would come back and get them since it was going to take a minute. The ride out was smooth and Teahupo’o did not disappoint. The best part was going back for the other passengers. We also picked up a local surfer who needed a ride out.
Haunui’s kindness and generosity are evident in all that he does. I think he knew I really wanted to see young Gilbert ride one of the waves. Haunui patiently waited until Gilbert went which meant extra time on the water for us. This is hands down my favorite excursion. The energy there is incredible. If you’re going - go with Teahupo’o Adventures - you will be thankful you did. Mahalo nui loa Haunui for the experience of a lifetime. We look forward to coming back again one day. A hui ho!

The only boat to be on to see the mythical wave - Was lucky enough to jump on Teahupoo adventures to see all three days of the recent WSL surf competition. Our captain Haunui is easily the premier captain in the channel. He was able to put us in the best viewing position, even when the channel was completely packed with other boats. His skill was matched by his personality, absolutely ripping bloke. The girls taking care of bookings and helping out at dock were also amazing. I couldn’t recommend these guys any more highly, don’t bother with their rivals just book with teahupoo adventures!

Good experience at famous site - Captain was excellent boat was great, swimming was fun, waves were only 2 meters so big waves are mostly July, August.
Surfers were fun to watch
