• Phu My Port - From 8:00 to 8:30 AM, the driver and guide will meet guests outside Phu My Port, approximately 200 meters from the ship in Vung Tau, to begin the transfer to Ho Chi Minh City, a journey of about 60 kilometers.
• Hồ Chí Minh City People’s Committee - At 10:00 AM, the tour will commence at the intersection of Nguyen Hue and Le Loi streets, offering views of the City Hall, the Opera House, and the flower garden in front of the City Hall, featuring a statue of Ho Chi Minh. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant daily life of the friendly locals.
• Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - At 10:40 AM, the tour will proceed to the Notre Dame Cathedral, where guests can explore this historic site. Built in 1880 by French colonizers, the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon showcases Gothic architecture, a red brick interior, towering bell towers, and stunning stained-glass windows. Officially known as the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception, it is located in the bustling Paris Commune Square in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
• Central Post Office - Following this, guests will visit the Saigon Central Post Office, also known as the Old Post Office, completed in 1891. This building is a fine example of French architecture, featuring arched windows, wooden shutters, and a grand clock face on the front interior. Visitors can send postcards and admire the ornate interior of this functioning post office.
• Reunification Palace, HCMC, Vietnam - Continuing on foot, guests will arrive at the Reunification Palace (or Independence Palace). This was the workplace of the Saigon puppet government – the Republic of Vietnam. On April 30th, 1975, the Southern Liberation Army breached the gates of the Independence Palace, leading to the unconditional surrender of the Saigon government. This marked the true freedom and official reunification of Vietnam.
• War Remnants Museum - At 12:30 PM, guests will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving delicious Vietnamese cuisine. At 1:30 PM, the tour will resume with a visit to the War Remnants Museum. Since 1975, this museum has displayed remnants from the American phase of the Vietnam War. As one of the most renowned history museums in Vietnam, the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City will enhance and challenge visitors’ understanding of the Vietnam War.
• Ben Thanh Market - By 2:30 PM, the tour will proceed to Ben Thanh Market, the largest and most beautiful market in the city. Guests can enjoy an hour of shopping at Ben Thanh Market before returning to the port. As the most famous shopping destination for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Thanh Market is an excellent place to purchase local handicrafts, branded items, Vietnamese art, and other souvenirs. Besides shopping, this oldest market in the city is an attraction in itself.
• Phu My Port - After visiting Ben Thanh Market, guests will return to the port in a private car. Arrival at the port will be approximately an hour and a half before the ship’s departure time, concluding the tour at the port.
