- Phu My - 7.00 AM or later (Private tour our driver and guide are ready at your disposal): Our driver picks up at the foot of your cruise to drive to Mekong Delta to start the tour visiting Ben Tre - My Tho area.
Our driver will have a card with your name on it upon your getting to the port, you take a walk down to your cruise and find our driver standing just at the foot of the cruise. Start the drive to My Tho.
Upon arrival to the boat station, our local guide greet and meet to start the trip.
- My Tho - We get to the boat station, Get on a small motored boat to go across the river on Long Island, visitors see the village floating fish market, tropical fruit Orchard. The visit to a real local family to enjoy all kinds of fruits in the giant garden while listening to the traditional local folk music: “Don Ca Tai Tu”. Strolling along the village to visit different families and gardens and enjoy honey tea here.
Get on the bamboo boat rowed by local people for a journey to a workshop of coconut candy (a specialty of Ben Tre). Enjoy the freshly made candy and get back to the boat to visit the local market. From here, we will get a Cycling tour (Horse cart or tuk tuk if you are not fond of biking) on the village road creeping through the orchards along roads and pristine beauty that nature has bestowed the area. Visit workshop of cakes. Get to the local restaurant for lunch. (Any special diet can be served on request).
- Phu My - 1h30h-2h00 PM: Get back to the boat to get back to the Canal and our driver will get you back to Phu My harbor. We get back to the port at around 16h-16h30 -30 minutes to 1 hour before your cruise departs at 5h00 PM

Absolutely Wonderful! - If you are staying in HCM City, don't even hesitate -- this is an amazing tour through fascinating parts of the Mekong Delta. If you are coming from a cruise ship, you should be aware that -- because of the travel time -- your tour will not be as leisurely as you might hope. Nevertheless, there were six of us in our group, and we would ALL book it again! It was a wonderful, beautifully-organized tour. The included lunch was unbelievably good; our tour guide could not have been better; the scenery was gorgeous. If we are ever again in the area, we would do this tour a second time. Highly recommend!

Would not recommend! - Upon arrival, we could not find our driver. We contacted the person in charge via phone and he insisted that the driver was there. We assured him that we could not find the driver and we were waiting outside. Come to find out, the driver was holding a sign with the wrong name. We got into the van and quickly realized he could not speak English. He used a translator on his phone to tell us he was taking us to the destination. There was not any more communication along the way. We stopped one time and he got us a water bottle from a gas station. We were very concerned about the time but he could not communicate with us to assure us we were or were not arriving on schedule. Three hours passed and we were confused that he kept making and taking calls with a man and other calls with a woman. We could not understand anything they were saying on the phone but it did not sound pleasant . We could tell the tour was not starting on time. Eventually, he met up with a woman on the side of the road who told us to go with her and she would be our guide. She was just okay as a guide, we did not have much conversation and we didn’t learn very much. She just took us from one place to the next. What I can say is that every stop of the tour she insisted that we purchased things from the sellers and did not seem very happy with us when we were not interested to buy anything. We took this tour mainly for the Mekong Delta, but I must say that the canoe ride was very short, especially considering we traveled three hours for it. It probably lasted no more than 10 minutes. Overall, we felt that many people on each stop were hassling us to buy something and putting us in uncomfortable situations to tip them. We were not happy with that, especially considering the tour itself was very expensive in the first place.
