• Christ The King Statue - Visit the Jesus Christ Statue. Climb the 847 steps to reach the 32-meter-tall (105 feet) statue of Jesus, one of the tallest in Asia, with arms stretching over 18.4 meters. Construction began in 1972 and was completed in 1993. Adventurous visitors can climb to the top inside Christ’s arms for a stunning panoramic view of Vung Tau city. (Fun fact: The Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is only 30 meters tall.)
• The Robert Taylor Museum Of Worldwide Arms - Note: You can choose to visit this museum or the Upside Down House (next attraction) and please specify in your booking. This unique museum, owned by a British individual, showcases weapons from the 12th century to the present from around the world, as well as military uniforms from various armies.
• Upside Down House - Note: You can choose the Upside Down House or the Robert Taylor Museum (previous attraction) and please specify in your booking. This is a must-visit for photography enthusiasts and families with children, offering many interesting rooms for great photos.
• The Whale Temple - This unique temple illustrates the local belief in nature and the harmony between the Vietnamese people and the sea. It plays a significant role in the ritual life of fishermen before they embark on long fishing trips.
• Vung Tau Beach - Enjoy lunch at a local beachside restaurant and relax on the beach afterward.
• Hon Ba Island - Often overlooked due to its small size, Hon Ba Island is home to the Mieu Ba Temple. Typically accessible only by boat, the tides recede enough on the 14th and 15th lunar days of the month to allow walking from the shore to the island. This important religious site hosts many spiritual festivities throughout the year.
• White Palace - Known in French as La Villa Blanche, this palace dates back to 1898 and was initially a summer villa for French Governor General Paul Doumer. Named after his daughter, Doumer had to return to France and later became President of France. The palace was officially used for holidays by some Indochina-French Governors starting in 1916. Its all-white appearance, which gives it the name “Bach Dinh” (“Bach” means white in Vietnamese), is captivating.
