Excellent EBC Trek with Beyond the Limits! - Saroj, his team and his guides went above and beyond to keep us safe and comfortable during our EBC Trek. From the moment our plane touched down in Kathmandu, to the day we flew off, Saroj and his team was there to receive us and guide us every step of the way. His team’s hospitality and warmth extends into the khumbu valley, where his guide and porters really went above and beyond to get us good and comfortable accommodations, and shared with us so much about their beautiful sherpa history and culture. All in all, my wife and I strongly recommend Beyond the Limits for a top-notch and affordably priced trekking experience. I looked for Saroj after a friend of mine recommended me to Saroj having done 6 treks in Nepal with Beyond the Limits (BTL). Amazing trip made extra special by Beyond the Limits! - We booked our trip through Beyond the Limits because they were highly recommended to us, and we're so glad that we did! In the months leading up to our trek, we got all the info we needed from the company which was clear and succinct. Saroj also took the time to respond to our barrage of queries on What's App and email, and he did video calls with us which was not easy with our loud and excitable group!! On arrival, the pickups from the airport were efficient and warm (the garland was a special welcoming touch). Saroj also took the time to go with me for a great cup of coffee (something I was dying for on arrival). This was my first experience of the limitless hospitality we would be shown by Beyond the Limits over the next two weeks... The sightseeing day in KTM was nicely paced, and the pre-briefing was comforting and informative. Our duffels arrived precisely when we were told they would. All of this was so reassuring at a point when we were mostly full of nerves!!! The day of departure was eventful, with our flights (and many others) cancelled due to weather. Fortunately Beyond the Limits handled the situation efficiently, and in no time we had two helicopters to whisk us upward to the mountains!!! The Trek itself was awesome. Not only was the scenery magical, but the great team convened by Beyond the Limits just added to that magic. The porters and guides were extremely friendly, and made us feel like family. They were patient and calm, and I quickly fell into step with the "meditation pace" (seriously, this was a game changer for me, and if left to my own devices, I would have tired myself on the daily). Each day was a pleasure with the guides. We shared meals and snacks, jokes and stories, both on the trail and in the tea houses. Really, we felt like a solid unit, like a family, with the Beyond the Limits team, and this played a huge part in all of us getting safely to the top and back down again. You wouldn't typically get this with other tour companies...but its a guarantee with Beyond the Limits. Saroj effortlessly organised helicopter flights down for those who weren't up to the walk back, changing arrangements without fuss or fluster. All in all, we had a successful, safe, and truly rewarding experience and this was largely due to the efforts of Saroj and his team at Beyond the Limits. I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat, and I already have done so to my colleagues in the Netherlands. Don't hesitate with these guys... Book with confidence, and feel the love!!!

Great experience and great organisation - The organization was great, before the trip we spent long time in the office with Saroj and he explained everything to us in detail and was very good in accommodating our necessities and answer our questions. Our guide Sera was experienced and very friendly, the trek per se was stunning and the view incredibly beautiful, unfortunately we didn't arrive to the base camp because of altitude sickness but in this situation Sera helped us to take the right decision and got us down safely, so even with this problem we were happy because the experience was awesome and the organisation perfect.

The care taken to ensure we ate right and consumed the right amount of water daily made them different from the other operators. EBC Dec 2019 - Amazing, to say the least - I was part of a team of 10 people that did this trek in Dec 2019 with Beyond the Limits Trekking, at first I was very nervous as it was my first time attempting this feat. We flew into Kathmandu and immediately I was at ease as Saroj and Dipendra (owners of the trekking company) were awaiting our arrival. They took care of all of luggage and our group immediately. Beyond the limits organised everything for us from transfers to and from the hotels, permits for trekking, accommodation during the trek, food on the trek, duffel bags (which is needed for the trek) as well as arranging for the porters (sherpas). We were delayed by two days due to weather (snow on runway) in Lukla and this was beyond our control as well as Beyond the Limits, they did however arrange with hotels and transport for the extra nights in Kathmandu. The journey to EBC is spectacular with amazing views and wonderful friendly people however not an easy one, it really is something that tests you as an individual and one needs to be strong minded when performing this trek. I am proud and glad to say I have achieved this. Throughout the trek we had 2 guides with us every step of the way from Beyond the Limits Trekking, they were Dipendra and Ram. They both ensured we were all good and ready for each day and every night we would receive a briefing from Dipendra in terms of what to expect for the next day, how much water to carry, the terrain of the route we will be doing, etc. This once again put me and the entire team at ease. I have to say there were many groups which we had chatted to along the way and in many cases they would tell us we are lucky to have the guides we have with us, this was due to the fact that many other guides or companies just let the group trek and would wait for them at the next tea house at the end of the day, there would be no guidance, briefings, etc. We definitely received great hospitality from the Beyond the Limits team who went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience, in my opinion, if one is thinking about doing any trekking in Nepal don't even think about any other company besides Beyond the Limits. Trek to EBC - Embarking on an expedition to EBC sounds simple and easy to some who have never embarked on a journey like this. As the group leader I wanted to ensure that the team has the best experience! So I contacted Beyond the Limits Trekking to help plan this adventure. From the warm service and welcome received on our arrival to our departure from Kathmandu I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for all that the team did for us. They went above and beyond in every way to make our trek fun and enjoyable. They were motivating, provided great advise from day 1, they ensured we ate well and ate all the foods to assist our bodies with the change in altitude. They ensured we drank enough water and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Due to unforeseen circumstances some team memebers had to fly down to Kathmandu by helicopter. Saroj Neupane ensured he came with to collect the team and treated them like family making sure they ate and are doing fine . Words cannot bring to express the gratitude I feel today for having such an amazing team to help us through the journey to EBC. Everest Base Camp December 2019 - A trip was planned with a group of 10 people to EBC. We had a faint idea of what to expect where we soon learned that our idea of what to expect was shortly lived by day 1. Trekking is no easy task as some may see as a simple walk, we felt much differently due to the weather conditions where the snow had played a big affect. The motivation, guidance, care, empathy and humor from the Beyond The Limits team is what allowed us to successfully reach EBC. The leaders from Beyond The Limits really made us feel welcomed, comfortable and at ease all the way from Kathmandu to EBC. Due to unforeseen events a few of our team members were taken down by helicopter where Saroj Neupane really took care of our family and friends as if they were his own, from arranging the emergency rescue to ensuring the wellbeing of each individual. I very big thank you from South Africa to Saroj, Dipendra and Ram from Beyond The Limits team.
