Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2652m/3 hr walk) (L, D)

Depart early morning for your transfer to Kathmandu airport from your hotel. You will be flown to Lukla airport which is one of the most adventurous airstrips in the world. The tour guide will meet you at the airport to begin your trek to Phakding.

All overnights will be at local lodges.

Day 2: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/5 hr walk) (B, L, D)

From Phakding, the trekking trail will be through pine & juniper forest. The group will see first glimpses of Mt. Everest and the Thamserku mountain. You will have time to stop for photo shots at a double-suspension bridge at Dudh Koshi River. The tour will check in at a lodge upon arrival at Namche where you will be free to stroll around at your own pace.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day (B, L, D)

In order for your body to become acquainted with the new environment, the tour will take a break for a free day or commence on an excursion to Syangboche Monastery.

Day 4: Trek to Tengboche (3867m/5 hr walk) (B, L, D)

The tour will continue with a trek to Tengboche Monastery. On the way, the tour can enjoy the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse with Ama Dablam peak and the Dodh Kosi river valley. In the evening, the tour will witness prayer rituals at Tengboche Monastery.

Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (4360m/5 hr walk) (B, L, D)

The group continues in their trek with a stop at Dingboche.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day (B, L, D)

In order for your body to become acquainted with the new environment, the tour will again take a break for a free day. You can explore the nearby area or take an excursion to Chukung-Ri.

Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (4940m/6 hr walk) (B, L, D)

Continue with a trek to Lobuche following the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier.

Day 8: Trek to Gorakshep (5170m) - Everest Base Camp (5364m) - Gorak Shep (8-9 hr walk) (B, L, D)

Start a highlight day for the trek in the morning starting with an uphill climb from Lobuche to Gorek Shep and enjoy the excursion to Everest Base Camp. Explore around Base Camp area and return back to Gorak Shep for the overnight stay.

Day 9: Excursion to Kalapathar & trek down to Pheriche (7 hr walk) (B, L, D)

The group departs early morning to climb to the top of Kalapathar (5643m) for a sunrise view over Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho-oyu and other peaks with a combined view of Everest Base Camp below. Afterwards, you’ll return to Gorek Shep for breakfast then trek down to Pheriche.

Day 10: Trek to Namche (6 hr walk) (B, L, D)

You will be guided back down to Namche.

Day 11: Trek to Lukla (B, L, D)

Tour will continue down to Lukla and check in at the lodge.

Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu (B)

In the morning you will be flown back to Kathmandu before being transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu.
