Food with a purpose - Of course learning to prepare our own Thai meal was a great education and experience. What was most impressive is the mission. Watching Dwight gently guide his student "chef" explain and teach was something that only comes from the heart. We selected this experience as an offering from our Holland America cruise. It is clear that CK provides these refugee young people with the professional skills to compete in the employment market. The goal is a job with dignity and the food is almost secondary.

Great start to my second trip in Bangkok - Despite being familiar with markets in south east asia, also Bangkok , I absolutely loved being shown around and taught all the Thai names patiently! Had great conversations , food, cooking.. pretty much had fun for a good cause and that pretty much says it all.

What an amazing time!!! - We are a family of four with two girls, 11 and 8 years old lucky enough to be travelling the world for several months. Went to this Thai cooking class as we saw their charitable work. Had an absolutly fabulous time preparing and cooking our own food, the kids were allowed to learn and do their own cooking to with their own host. The menu was authentic and different Thai food. Learnt so much about food and the work of Courageous Kitchen. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My first Thai cooking class experience -- and it was amazing! - My friend enrolled us in a class as a gift. We had to take a cab from Khlong San area to get to where it is, but it was worth it. Our group met our instructor near the market, we all went there to buy our ingredients and taste some delicious street food, before we went to the Courageous Kitchen house to cook. Very good teacher, I managed to make delicious dishes (so proud!), spend time with new and old friends, and help out Courageous Kitchen's cause! Keep up the good work!
