We Saw the Liberty Bell and So Can You - My wife and I recently booked The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia. Our tour guide Joseph was awesome! Joseph, a resident of Philadelphia was extremely knowledgeable. We began our tour by visiting the home of Betsy Ross, Independence Hall, Carpenter's Hall where Liberty began, Franklin Court, the Ben Franklin Post Office, the location of Ben Franklin's home and the main event, setting our eyes on the Liberty Bell. Wear your good walking shoes and enjoy this tour. By the way, Philly is a very walkable city. We found plenty of parking in the center city area.

Exceptional guide and tour - John was great! Very knowledgeable about Philly history and personable, too. Answered our varied questions well. My husband also enjoyed taking baseball with him. (It was miserable weather and we were the only participants,) All the sites were interesting and impressive. We appreciate his dedication, knowledge and overall friendliness. Definitely recommend John and this tour!

Quick sampling of American history - The tour gave a great, quick look at things like the location of homes of George Washington and Ben Franklin, the exterior of Independence Hall, Franklin’s print shop, the building where the continental congress met, Betsy Ross’ home, Franklin’s grave, and the Liberty Bell through its glass encasement. After the tour, we had an opportunity to go back and revisit many of the sites more closely. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The tour provided a great introduction into Philadelphia’s role in our nation’s independence.

Good overview of the area and sites for further investigation - John did a good job describing the sites and explaining what places to visit for a more extensive tour of a historical place. I was extremely happy that the tour was not cancelled even though it was just me and my wife during that tour time.
