A perfect holiday experience - What a great experience we had with the Philadelphia Holiday Lights driving tour! Sure, you can sit at home and watch a Hallmark Christmas movie. Or, you can get up off the couch and have your own holiday experience! I live in the Philadelphia region, and I've been meaning to see the holiday displays in the city with my family for years. This private driving tour turned out to be a real revelation for me. It's the perfect way to enjoy a destination (even one in your own backyard) without having to worry about anything. Someone else drives, someone else navigates, someone else takes care of everything. We were driven all around the city and it was so much fun. The personalized experience made me feel like we were VIPs. Adam was a fantastic tour guide... polite, engaging, knowledgeable, friendly, considerate, and professional. I am very pleased with the experience he provided for my family and look forward to taking another tour with WeVenture!

Philly Christmas on Display! - We signed up for a Sunday evening tour on a very cold night! It was amazing. Adam, our guide, was friendly and so knowledgeable. We loved his stories about Philly- he's not a native but you would never know! We began by stopping at Smedley Street in South Philly, where neighbors put on an incredible holiday display in the center lawn, and every house is decorated. Next, we drove through the neighborhood a bit, enjoying so many classic Christmas window and house displays. The Miracle on 13th Street display was crazy busy, but Adam found a way and we were able to have a pass through to see the incredible displays at each house- some even had little fireplaces set up! A quick stop at Isgro's the best bakery in Philly and then a stop at Franklin Square for the light show. Finally, we jumped out of the car for a few minutes to visit the Portal- what a unique experience! It was a great way to get in the Christmas spirit and enjoy the city without worrying about where we were, driving in the crazy traffic, or stopping whenever we wanted to get out and stroll (not too frequently, given the cold!) I would recommend it to anyone!

Lights, music, and joy - This tour was amazing! Our guide Tom drove us all over the city to see how people decorated their own neighborhoods and finished it off with a wonderful visit to a Christmas market. As a lifelong Philadelphian I thought I had seen it all, but Tom showed me another side of Philly for the holidays.

Festive & fun holiday tour - I had such a blast on the holiday lights tour! I’m fairly new to Philadelphia so everywhere we went was a brand new experience for me. We went to some hidden gems you’d never know to visit without the tour. Our tour guide, Tom, was exceptional. You can see his passion for both Christmas and for Philadelphia. His face would light up like the Christmas decorations whenever he would tell us stories about the city. I’d highly recommend requesting him directly!!

One bright night - Oh wow, what a bright view. Tom brought us on a tour that touched all over the city showing us areas that tourist and locals alike don't often go. We got to walk around areas with well coordinated light systems and one spot that was playing the movie frosty on a random screen. This was an wonderful time and he did amazing job, the light show at Franklin square was absolutely incredible.

Festive, cozy, and intimate - the ultimate Philly Christmas tour - Tom did an amazing job guiding us through the most charming holiday spots in the city. Smedley circle is a virtually unknown gem where the entire block coordinates decorations and the green space in the middle of the block has inflatables including one of Frosty with the movie playing projected onto his stomach! After that, we went to Miracle on 13th street. This is an absolute must-see! The entire street is decked out and each home has a different theme like The Grinch, The Nutcracker, and Christmas Vacation. Then we went to Franklin Square to get drinks (both boozy and non-alcoholic available) and food and to see the light show that plays every half an hour. You can sit by a fire pit, roast smores, rent a curling station, play miniature golf, or go on the carousel here. This entire tour was intimate, cozy, and festive. I absolutely recommend it and ask for Tom if you can - he’s an excellent guide!
