Excellent Tour Guide on our visit to Philly - The tour guide, Cayanna (?), was excellent! We do HOHO tours frequently as we travel around the country and to foreign countries as a way to acquaint ourselves with new cities - the success of HOHO is totally dependent on the guide. We mostly get good guides, occasionally we get one so bad that the tour is a total flop. However, the tour and the guide in Philly were wonderful. Lots of interesting stops and neighborhoods to see (26 available stops!) and the guide had something interesting to say about each one, as she often told a joke or an ‘insider tip’. Kudos to Cayanna.

Nice ride - Great tour guide!! Upper deck need cleaning Should advise that right seats need to be cautious because of the trees branches.

Nice tour- Both Companies work together - Positives: All of our tour guides were informative and entertaining, and the top deck of most buses was covered, so even in the cold weather, the top deck was still nice. Negatives: Buses weren’t traveling as frequently, so we did wait at some stops for what felt like a longer time than promised. Our friends used 1 company to book their tour, and we accidentally used the other company. The brown bus and red bus companies apparently work together, so don’t worry if you book differently from your friends, but we didn’t find that out until after we tried to cancel our first tour and booked the second tour with the same company they used. No refunds for mistakes!

Waited too long for a group to come - rushed experience. - The tour was scheduled to begin at 8:00 and to end at 9:30. Because the operators waited for several members of a group to arrive, we ended up leaving at 8:23. The tour ended at 9:30, which should tell you that things were rushed. The speaker did her best, but it was obviously not the experience that I signed up for.

Warning: Have your tickets printed - The bus drivers and tour guides were great and are why they get a 2 instead of a 1. Our hotel gave us the brochure for the tour. No where on the brochure did it say you had to 1. Print your tickets or 2. Board the bus at stop 1. The brochure said you could buy your tickets on the bus, on the website, at your hotel, etc. We were able to get on a bus because it stopped and the driver said to hop on. We did a loop around the city, even changed busses and they didn't ask for our tickets. We got off at a stop, went to look at liberty bell and when we were ready to get back on is when it began. First we just missed a bus (it had just started moving when we got there), so we had to wait on line for the next one. Then as we were getting in the bus, they asked about our tickets so we showed them the QR code on our phones... well that wasnt.food enough, so we had to go to the kiosk and get them.printed.out, which caused us to miss the bus. The staffat this particular stop was not the most friendly, and at that point neither were we. We were hot. We were hungry. Eventually we got on the bus, but had a sour taste.in our mouth. Overall the tour itself was good but the experience was not.

Not worth it. - I have never been to Philly and was excited for this tour. First off, the tour was slightly deceiving, it was just a drive with no “hop off”. While the sights were great, our guide was not professional at all. There were many young kids on board and our guide made many references to “peeing”, “drinking”, her political beliefs, and other innuendos that were not appropriate. She also provided limited, if any, educational history about Philadelphia. It was so disappointing because I really wanted to learn, see, & hear more about the history. I really would not recommend this tour to anyone.

The worst in the world - The worst sightseeing tour in the world! The on bus guide provides 0 value add and made questionable jokes. The sales person Dave did not know how to operate the machine to sell tickets. Dave was rude and unprofessional! The sound track had poor quality and for most of the seats was not operational.

Disappointed - It was an unpleasant journey, and the advertisement is TOTALLY misleading! First, the total during is less than ONE hour, not 90 minutes. Second, the bus will not stop at any 28 stops (except for traffic lights of course). The price is obviously too high for this poor journey.
