Philly donut tour with Dom. - Having been born and raised and Philly, I was blown away at how much new information I learned about my city from our wonderful and energetic guide, Dom. When combining that experience with a diverse assortment of donuts, the day turned out to be one for the history books. From reading terminal market to Philly’s mini Korea town, from classic Boston cremes, to mochi nut donuts, I never imagined Philly to have a world of donuts that I knew nothing about. Looking forward to trying the food tour next.

Need This If You’re a Donut Fan - Underground provided the best donut tour experience! Dom brought us to numerous donut shops in a close enough vicinity that walking was fun & not tiring. By the end, our tummies were full and we were incredibly happy. We learned some awesome history about Reading Terminal, each donut shop, and a bit about the makings of Philadelphia & the famous railroads that we’ve all heard about in Monopoly. 10/10 recommend - thank you Dom & Underground for the best donut tour!

Save your money - This was not the experience the reviews gave. I surprised my husband with this tour while we were in Philadelphia for the weekend. The text message I had received stated to be at federal donuts by 2:50 which we were. Our guide was late arriving ( after 3pm or scheduled start time). We started at federal donuts and he told us we would come back why We would meet there and not start there only to come back made zero sense. After an hour into the tour, our tour guide Gave us a history of all the local buildings William Penn all of that it was an hour into our tour before we had our first donut at the terminal. My husband and I only got to pick one doughnut. My husband was picking two, the guy said just one. Mind you I saw the cost of donuts. We sat down at our donuts, headed back out onto the street. Did a few more history things like the convention center only to head back to federal donuts where we started it. He picked out two donuts, which I thought we should’ve been able to pick us we had to split Donuts guess where we headed back to the terminal where we did not get donuts we got ice cream he told us to pick out the flavors we want. My husband told him what he wanted and I told him what I wanted and our guide told us just one as they are seven dollars apiece so we had to split it… what a joke. After leaving the terminal it was over. .. and thank god bc I was so thirsty, never once were we offered coffee a water a drink all of the reviews I had read said people were full from all the donuts they had and coffee needless to say we did not have that experience at all. I paid $137 for this tour and our Guy may be spent 15 if that on one donut apiece from the first place to donuts that we had to share from the second place that we didn’t even get to pick and the third place was ice cream wasn’t even doughnut. I thought this was a doughnut tour. Im sorry I wasted my money on this. This was not what it was made out to be. .. In the multiple stops as it made, it seem was also a lie. Why would we leave the terminal only to return to it? Why would we leave the starting point at a donut place only to return to it was two hours of my life that I absolutely hated. What was even more comical is he took a photo of us? I didn’t look at it until we got back to our room. It is pitch black you can’t even make us out in it. I tipped him at the end bc I just wanted to get away.
