Trust the "Process"! - One of the best days I've had in my American vacation. Got to see where the US started. I had the full "Philly" experience. Had a Philly cheesesteak sandwhich at Jim's. Saw the liberty bell, magic garden, independence hall etc. our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and even went the distance to taking us to Kobe Bryant's childhood home and Highschool. Ended our tour with an epic Rocky Balboa running up the Rocky Steps

Amazing Private Tour of Philadelphia with James Robinson! - We had the pleasure of taking a private tour of Philadelphia with James, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. James, a Philly native, brought so much energy and local knowledge to our day. We saw so many incredible parts of the city, from the iconic landmarks to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. His unique insights and personal stories added such a rich layer to our experience.
One of the highlights was how James went above and beyond for my 10-year-old son. My son had mentioned he wanted to visit two states on our trip, so James went out of his way to drive us across the river to New Jersey. We got some fantastic photos by the water with a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. It was such a thoughtful and fun touch that made the day even more special.
James made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend, not just a guide. If you’re looking for an authentic, informative, and personalized tour of Philadelphia, I can’t recommend James enough!

An Awesome Day in Philly! - Tom Courtney, the tour guide, was so knowledgeable about Philadelphia and the historical aspects of the places we visited! He was patient with me because I am a slow walker. The best way to learn is through asking questions and having dialogue which is what we did through the entire tour. I had the opportunity to walk down streets and see markets and old buildings with
commentary about them. He is kind, very personable, and since he knows people, we got to hear stories and talk to people. Also, I told him that I will be moving next year so he showed me neighborhoods and the history of those who live there.
I highly recommend Tom for tours! Also, being a previous teacher (I am a teacher), I appreciated how much I learned about Philly through Tom!

Brotherly love the history and the city today - We enjoyed our history tou. This unique tour in addition to past history, showed us the city and the people who are contributing today in the art, culture, food, to build up a current story of the city with the values of our forefathers. We loved our knowledgeable guide, Adam and would recommend this tour wholeheartedly to anyone.

Adam is THE man! - The 5 star rating was totally based on not only the expertise of our driver, Adam but his cheerful personality and enjoyable disposition. He is hugely knowledgeable about the area and offered “did you know…” details about the areas we traversed. Adam made the day so much fun and relaxing at the same time.
Ask for Adam, you will have a blast!

Private Day and a Half Driving Tours of Lower Merion and Brandywine areas - My sister and I were the travelers. A third friend joined us. Working with the WeVenture office in Philadelphia was easy. We were pleased to pay in advance so that they knew we were seriously interested in a guide driving us to four areas outside of the city, where our ancestors settled in 1683. 75 years later our ancestors represented the Continental Congress in the Revolutionary War. Two of the four areas were Valley Forge and The Battle of Brandywine. Others were the earliest Welsh Quakers Meeting Houses, where Adam went beyond by arranging for two church members to take us into the meeting houses giving us a tour within a tour. There was no additional charge for this from WeVenture, it was a piece of Adam Clements’s superb preparation. Of course, each of us picked up Meeting House Offering envelopes to send offerings to these marvelous historic churches.
About Adam Clements – he must be the most knowledgeable guide in Philadelphia. Adam took the materials my sister sent, personally drove the custom tour he arranged for us with our map and ancestry materials for timing. My sister’s review will include the places we asked to see. We engaged WeVenture for a full day and a half a day. Adam is a historian with a specialty in the Revolutionary War and delightful to boot.
