Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour (Route)

Operating Schedule: Beginning at the Bourse Building right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, plug into our multi-lingual headphone audio to discover the origins of America, since Philadelphia is where America’s Founding Fathers first declared independence from England, and then ratified the US Constitution and Bill of Rights to start the new nation. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of such historic landmarks including the Christ Church Burial Grounds, Elfreth’s Alley, the Betsy Ross House, and Independence Hall, to name just a few.

As you head west, see the Friendship Gate in Chinatown, be amazed by the architecture of Philadelphia’s City Hall, and be sure to explore the various museums along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, including the Barnes Foundation – known as the world’s largest collection of post-impressionistic art in the world. As you continue your journey, marvel at Philadelphia’s growing skyline and get a bird’s-eye view from atop the One Liberty Observation Deck. Your loop finishes up after touring through the charming neighborhood of Society Hill and a drive along the banks of the Delaware River.

So much fun! - I took my 14 year old son & we both had a great time! It was a gorgeous day-I’d recommend sunscreen. We started at the beginning, did the full tour, then got on & off again a couple times at various stops. Our tour guide Sebastian was very knowledgeable & entertaining. It was a perfect way to see Philly!

Easy, fun, worth while - Tickets were easy to purchase on-line but there seemed to be a lot of staff at the boarding site so one could probably buy them there too. Everyone was friendly, professional, and the guides were all very knowledgeable. They made it fun. The stops were easy to get on and off. It was nice to have the "Chat" option but when I couldn't find the answer I called and a live person helped me right away.

An over of the history and sights - Great way to see the city and hear some history. I would not have explored this much on my own. Although it was 95 degrees on the day of our visit, the breeze on the top deck helped. The narrator of the tour was knowledgable. Great way to see a lot of city - especially if you are short on time. Love that you can get on/off at any stop.

Didn’t stop for us or acknowledge passengers - Tried to flag 2 buses at stop 19 but didn’t stop. Driver didn’t even look at us, just kept going. Ended up waiting an hour total for the next bus.
