Review of Meet the Province - Sophors treats guests like family. The cooking class was informative as it introduced fundamentals of the Khmer cooking. I would recommend to other travelers looking to experience the rural lifestyle of Cambodia. The living accommodations were wonderful.

A must do experience - What a great idea. We went over the New Year period and I'm so glad we did. Beautiful home well kept and even a jacuzzi. Great hostess that made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend

It feels like staying at a relative's house in the countryside. - This facility is located across the Mekong River by a ferry that is used almost exclusively by locals. There is a course that only offers a Khmer cooking experience, but you can also stay overnight. I highly recommend staying overnight. The owner and his family looked after me, and I had a magical time that felt like I was staying at a relative's house in the countryside. Also, if you apply through TripAdvisor, please install WhatsApp in advance. Even if you click on the ticket link, the address of the facility does not appear, so even if you give directions to the driver, he will not know the way. It is best to have the owner give the driver directions via WhatsApp.
