10 out of 10! Sey you presented your Cambodia perfectly. - Wow today was an incredible outing away from the bustling business of Phnom Penh. We enjoyed ferry rides, tours through farm land, many fruit, eggplant, lemon grass, corn, rice paddies, and of course the magical world of silk, a shared meal, shared fruit. Our Tuk Tuk driver did a great job all the day and Sey our guide was very informative, funny, kind and gentle. This tour has been a highlight for us.

Unforgettable experience - What a great tour , we had Mr Thong as our tour guide, best tour we have done so far and unforgettable experience. Mr Thong is extremely noligeable and passionate about Cambodia and its people and his English is very good. The tour started at 7:30 am and finished at 1:30 pm. We toured 3 island, met with many local villagers who were all so lovely, it is amazing how lovely and accepting the locals are , inviting complete strangers in to there homes and with the biggest smiles made us felt very welcome. We learnt about harvesting rice, making silk, making of grass mats as well as local farmers and how the sell there produce at the markets. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was delicious 10 out of 10

Cambodia and its people for all - This is a great way to visit the surroundings of Phnom Penh without difficulty. Our guide, Thong, was really very informative and he had a good story for almost everything we saw. The tours were also all up to the rest of the tour. A small rural market, a house that produces and weaves silk as a family, a tofu factory and a fascinating temple surrounded by the only cemetery we have seen in Cambodia. I strongly recommend this visit to all those who want to better understand Cambodia and its people.

Great tour - Hong our guide and Yap our driver took great care of us. Hong has a great amount of enthusiasm for his country and its culture which only added to the experience. Highly recommend this tour of Silk Island and what it is all about. Also Hong is an avid for photographer which made the tour more interesting if you happen to be a fellow shutterbug.

An amazing culture - Starting with the ferry ride over the Mekong River, it was an extraordinary day. From the vibrant sights & smells in the local market, to fantastic hand woven colorful floor mats, to the labor intensive process of silkworm production & intricate weaving on wooden looms & finally the manufacture of bead curd in the grueling heat, we were awed by the incredible talent & industry of the Cambodian people. A great experience which we highly recommend!

Silk Island - Catching and using a Tuk-tuk is a lovely way to see the island and explore around the Silk Centre. If travelling from Phnom Penh you will need to catch a ferry across to the island. The ferry runs frequently and the tuk-tuk driver drives you onto the barge/boat (ferry) while you're transported across the river.

Best Cambodian tuk tuk 6hr trip ever! - Thong (our guide) met us early directly at the hotel, he was extremely friendly and spoke good English. We started the 2.30pm arvo tour feeling exceptionally comfortable and safe. We hopped in our tuk tuk with driver Tran (also lovely) and headed to Silk Island across multiple ferries. Thong was an exceptional guide and took the time to explain about the farmers, their farming methods and their produce, of course silk weaving, & how bean curd is made (foreigners should never again complain about their work office conditions!), the curd is made 24x7 and rotated by family members on watch. Thong was extremely helpful and patient with our many cultural questions and observant of our needs (WC, water etc), and even made a quick stop when we showed interest in home made donuts on the side of the street (ps, delicious by the way). We cannot recommend Thong highly enough of Vana Adventure Travel (his own company), he truly is inspirational of his knowledge and care for the Cambodian people! This was the best trip we had during our 2wk stay across Vietnam and Cambodia. Thank you Thong.

A memorable at the Silk island - The guide was great. He told us about the local Cambodian culture. The ferry ride on the Mekong was memorable. We visited. colourful local markets and a silk farm where they showed us how to spin silk. And showed us how the silkworms are harvested to make silk. We walked through a village and had local Cambodian lunch on a floating restaurant. We loved it.
