Then, we’ll hop into our TukTuk and head to the local market.\n\nLocal Market Tour:\nAt the market, Sophors will explain the local produce and the meal we’ll be cooking together. Fresh ingredients will be purchased during the market tour.\n\nCooking Session:\nBack at Meet The Province, we’ll start preparing our signature Khmer local dish, Chicken Amok. Sophors will guide you through the cooking process while sharing about how she grew up in the area. It’s a great activity to escape the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh and immerse yourself in the local culture.\n\nRelax before going to bed:\nRelax in our beautiful elevated rooms with wooden floors. Enjoy the calm surroundings and wildlife. \n\nBedtime\n\nWake-up and breakfast:\nWe will make a nice breakfast in the morning and bring you back to Areyksat ferry point.

It’s hard to believe that it’s a mere 30-minute distance from the city center of Phnom Penh.

Meet The Province
Take the ferry to Arey Ksat Province (close to Nagaworld Casino). Please ask the ferry operator and confirm they go to Arey Ksat. At the other side of the water take a Tuktuk to Meet The Province. Please show our place to the TukTuk driver on google maps to the driver.

A must do experience - What a great idea. We went over the New Year period and I'm so glad we did. Beautiful home well kept and even a jacuzzi. Great hostess that made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend

It feels like staying at a relative's house in the countryside. - This facility is located across the Mekong River by a ferry that is used almost exclusively by locals. There is a course that only offers a Khmer cooking experience, but you can also stay overnight. I highly recommend staying overnight. The owner and his family looked after me, and I had a magical time that felt like I was staying at a relative's house in the countryside.
Also, if you apply through TripAdvisor, please install WhatsApp in advance. Even if you click on the ticket link, the address of the facility does not appear, so even if you give directions to the driver, he will not know the way. It is best to have the owner give the driver directions via WhatsApp.

A few minutes away from Phnom Penh, this beautiful place is surrounded by nature and love. Discover the countryside and traditional cooking with the tours that Sophors is organizing.
