Cycling around three islands - Omg. This tour was so good. It was just the two of us and our guide. The bikes were great - well maintained and easy to use. Sey was our guide and he was very good. Very informative. We stopped several times, to examine the fruit and veg on the side of the road, at a couple of monasteries , the nunnery, to look at the reclining Buddha and to watch bean curd getting made - amazing. We also stopped to try some of the fresh cooked bananas from a road side stop all on Mekong island. Then we crossed a bridge to silk island. Where we cycled around the countryside. Then onto another ferry to the mainland island where we cycled to a home where we first had cold bottled water and some local fresh fruits. Then we spoke with, watched and did some silk weaving (well I did the winding of the silk onto the bobbin). Then off to a restaurant for lunch. All in all a fabulous tour.

Fantastic time cycling through villages and along farmlands, seeing the real Cambodia - I had a fantastic time on this cycle tour around Silk Island with our guide Nerith. He was lovely! Very friendly, interesting, and informative. The stops on route were great, with many photo opportunities and a really great restaurant for lunch - a deck over the river with hammocks to chill in and delicious local food and ice cold beers and waters! Thank you Nerith and Vana Adventure Tours.

Wonderful Phnom Penh tour - It doesn't matter if you are in Phnom Penh Cambodia for a long or short time as we were, you must consider doing this tour. We had Narith as our guide, and he was fantastic. He assisted us getting used to our bikes, and ensured our safety as we were riding around Silk Island. All of our questions were answered by Narith. He is a wonderful ambassador promoting his country. We learnt so much during this tour that covered various aspects of Cambodian life. We found the pace of the tour relaxing(we aren't highly experienced bike riders). We rode along rural roads, and beside the Mekong river too at times. Stops along the way were well timed, and gave us a break... while learning about local industries such as cotton/silk weaving, soya bean production, and much more. The bikes were in excellent condition, with comfy riding seats too. Adjustments were made to suit our heights. Lunch was delicious, and included in the tour price. A must do tour if travelling to Phnom Penh Cambodia. Highly recommended.

Brilliant cycling tour and experience - What an amazing experience this was. Thong is a fabulous guide, sharing his knowledge of the area and local people. Cycling was all easy and at a good pace for all in party. The water stops / breaks were well timed. The fruit at the silk weaving family home was so tasty and to watch the weavers was great. Lunch was delicious. All in all a fabulous way to see the islands around Phnom Penh.

What a experience - What a great experience biking through the countryside and villages crazy hot but so worth it. Our guide was so patient as one of our group struggled with the heat (sorry been a few weeks since we did tour and have forgotten his name) made lots of stops and keep to a easy pace.

Interesting & fun . Good to get out of the city. - Our guide Sai picked us up at the hotel . He was a lovely, smart young guy and very knowledgable about the islands. He and his family still lived there. We were very lucky there was only the two of us booked on the tour, It was fun and interesting . The meal by the river was good , with clean loos !

Good tour, different - Not a traditional mountain bike tour, but makes you see the area from another perspective and see the culture more. I enjoyed it and the guide was very informative

Excellent bike trip. Highly recommended - The bike ride was an excellent way to see the islands around Phnom Penh. The guides Thong and Nirath were so friendly and provided so much information about the local villagers and lifestyle in a fun way. They certainly kept us laughing. The bikes were very well maintained and sized to suit the individual. This is a highly recommended must do while visiting Phnom Penh.

Nice places, boring tour - It’s a nice and interesting place to cycle around. The lunch was nice, too. A few adjustments could make this a much better activity. The guide was very quiet and reserved. An energetic, outgoing guide makes a big difference, so he can work on that, and maybe prepare things to talk about beyond “that’s a mango tree.” The bike was very uncomfortable, with a hard seat, hard handlebar grips, and a setup that didn’t allow you to sit up, so after a while it strains your back. It seemed like a good quality, newish bike, but maybe they should switch to a more comfortable style of bike. We arrived at the restaurant - the last stop on the itinerary - just after 10:30am. When we’d finished eating at 11, he suggested lying in a hammock for 10 minutes. That was nice! But after 10 minutes I waited a further 30 minutes before we left. Was this just killing time because the itinerary is too empty? I would suggest finding a similar tour with another company, because Silk Island and Mekong Island are nice.
