A great way to experience local Phnom Penh evening dining - We love food and couldn't have been happier to book with Lost Plate to see a different side of Phnom Penh than would have been possible on our own. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked two more with them in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap (all were 5* and a highlight of our Cambodia trip). On both the evening and the morning tours, we visited a number of great local places to try different foods and came away having eaten nothing but delicious dishes and feeling more than full!

Definitely go! - Absolutely amazing food tour!! Got to experience authentic Cambodian cuisine. But our tour guide Sun Veasna is who made it really special - he was so knowledgeable about the food and taught us a lot about Cambodia in general. Will always remember this experience. Definitely recommend.

Phenom Penh! - We had a fantastic time on our evening food tour of Phnom Penh. Our guide, Sun Veasna, was amazing throughout and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was its best. We were able to try some fantastic food and, thanks to our guide, were able to learn the history and cultural significance of what we were eating. We would absolutely recommend the tour!

Great experience of Cambodian food culture - It was an amazing insight in Cambodian food culture. The hidden rooftop bar at the end was also a highlight. Veasna did a great job and gave us lots of background. Especially with his personal experience. He also took great care of my peanut allergy and even changed the dish for me at one place.

A Delicious Taste Of Phnom Penh - This was a fun and informative tour of Phnom Penh’s culinary scene with lots of tasty Khmer cuisine along the way. The variety of foods were a great mix of traditional and modern while the venues ranged from ‘locals-only’ (but very friendly!) to trendy urban spots. The food was explained well with notes on the recipes, history and cultural significance of each dish and snack. Lee was a great guide and made the evening a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

New foods, new favorites. - Very good, as always. This is my 7th or 8th tour with Lost Plate. I've done several in China and several in Cambodia. I've enjoyed them all. This is my second go round with this tour. The first time, Phnom Penh was just coming out of Covid restrictions. This time, a friend who'd done a couple of Lost Plate tours with me in China came for a visit, so we took the tour. It was wonderful. I've been living in Phnom Penh for a few years now. On this tour, we visited places I've never been before and even had dishes I've never had before. We will definitely be revisiting each stop, a couple of which I've been before, but where I tried new items I've never had. Lost Plate is always good about choosing authentic restaurants popular with locals, supporting local entrepreneurs/restauranteurs, and offering dishes that are not so "out there" that they are intimidating to people who are only mildly adventurous eaters. (In other words, we didn't eat any bugs, etc.) That's one of the things I love about them. They choose places you would go to again and again, not just the one time for novelty's sake. We also loved our guide, Boram. He was very knowledgeable, had a quick wit, and an interesting personal story. He was very professional and warm and personable at the same time. Our driver was also very attentive. We plan to do the morning food tour of Phnom Penh in the upcoming weeks. We love Khmer breakfast foods, but we expect to find some new dishes and places to get them. I find that a food tour is always an excellent introduction to a new place, and if you are coming to Phnom Penh for a visit, Lost Plate is an excellent choice for a food tour. If you live here and want a fun evening out, Lost Plate offers that. If you are intimidated about where, how, and what Khmer food to order, this tour can open the door for you.
