Hear personal experiences with a passionate guide - Wow what a trip. I welled up many times, no amount of research can prepare you for what you see. It’s a must-do trip in Phnom Penh and we are so glad we went on a private tour with Barang. He told us his personal experiences, detailing what his family went through before they died and how he grew up in the aftermath. A hard-hitting day with a passionate guide. Thank you, Barang, for sharing your story with us.

An excellent tour of the very disturbing history of the Pol Pot regime - Silong and our driver were great! Perfect English was spoken. Silong was excellent at explaining the past 65 years of the Cambodian history, the events that led up to the Pol Pot regime, and the focus of our private tour for three, today. The van that was our mode of transportation, was quite nice, clean, and comfortable. They picked us up at our centrally located hotel promptly. The tour was never rushed, questions were answered, and all in all we spent 4.5 hours with our guide. Highly recommended for a very personal tour of these horrific places in history.

Exceptional and humbling experience - Ms Thay was excellent guide - she was professional, friendly and informative about this dark history of Khmer Rouge. We visited S21 prison then Cheung Ek killing fields. It was humbling and important to pay our respects. We learned a lot and now understand better Cambodian history.

Our guide was exceptional... - Our guide was exceptional and had a breadth of knowledge through both first hand experience and understanding of the broader effects the regime had on Cambodia, as well as the events leading up to, and post intervention forces arrived at the capital. Can’t recommend enough to anybody seeking a quality tour, travelling in comfort with minimal waiting around and transit time.

An excellent guide to see such important historical sites - Absolutely excellent and in particular my guide Mr Silong, who was welcoming, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English (he is too modest about his excellent English) and carefully, deeply and sensitively explained history. So important to see and understand and I am very grateful for the experience.

Very interesting tour, a must-do - We had a very interesting tour with our excellent tour guide Mr. Silong. He took all the time to tell us so many things about all what happened in Cambodia and the different place we visited, he really knew a lot of details and could answer all of our questions. Besides this, he is also a very friendly and humble person, very lucky to have him as a guide. I would recommend this tour to everyone if you want to learn more about the history of this country.

S21 and Killing Fields - Lina is an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide. Moreover, she speaks fine English and was able to convey Cambodia's turbulent history in a clear way without sugarcoating anything. She clarified that with some personal stories from family members. The meeting with the 2 survivors was also very touching. Very friendly attentive driver, who spoiled us with fresh water and snacks.

A sad but necessary and excellent tour - We were very pleased we did this tour. It was upsetting, unbearable in places. But we didn’t think we could come to Cambodia and not pay our respects. We felt we needed to learn about its awful ( astoundingly) recent history. Our guide was excellent. He answered a thousand questions, never lost patience, and judged his commentary exactly right in quantity and tone. Don’t expect this tour to be fun. But do it all the same.
