Kun Khmer or Pradal Serey is a style of kickboxing originating in Cambodia. It dates back to the 9th century and was taught to Angkor Warriors to defend Angkor Wat. It is a free fighting style consisting of stand-up strikes and clinches. There are min types of strikes; punches, kicks, elbow, and knee strikes. The clinch is used to wear down the opponent. The clinch opponents use short-range kicks and elbows to dominate. Cambodian fighters tend to use more elbow strikes than other martial arts, with more victories coming from elbow strikes than any other strike.

We had a blast - Such a fun night! There was 4 fights in total, and it lasted about 1h30 (2 of them ended in early tkos). The ringside seats were great, the vibe was insane, and the driver was so sweet!

An exciting night out - We were picked up by a car AC on and offered beer or water on route. The driver offered to stop at a supermarket to buy snacks or drink, we didn't realise but you cannot buy at the stadium as it is a TV studio and the fights are being shown live on TV, so you may wish to buy snacks. This is the first time we have been to a kick boxing match and it was extremely exciting we had front row seats and our guide helped during the matches to explain the rules or give his opinion. We were given beers all night and watched about 5 fights. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and I would recommend highly

Underrated Experience - Great experience to view the fights near the ring. But most of all, it's a different cultural experience which doesn't get much of a spotlight. The tour operator was professional, friendly, knowledgable, and organized. I recommend him (Mr. Sophoarn).

Something local - Decided to try something ‘local’ while on holidays so took this tour to see live Kickboxing. The atmosphere was great as there were 2 international bouts on the program that night - our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the sport and gave us the background on it origins, the points system etc so it was easier to understand. We had front row seats, and he also ensured we had cold drinks when ever we wanted. If you are looking for something different to do then try this tour out.

Great night out for cheap! - Booked this tour whilst in Phnom Penh a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it was a fantastic night out. Our driver Sop went out the way to pick me up from my hotel, even though it wasn't listed on the pick up points. He was friendly, and gave our group a good rundown on the history of the sport whilst driving to the venue. There was a group of us from all over Europe who got on very well and chatted away the entire time, and yes , all the beers are included! The fights were great and all the locals at the arena were as always, very friendly. Brilliant experience for a bargain price, and ill definitely be attending again once ive moved to Cambodia in a couple of months.
