Sample downtown food scene - Peter was our guide for the afternoon. The tour takes you walking past many of the historical buildings in downtown and Peter does a good job of sharing the buildings stories. There are many stops along the way to sample local restaurants dishes. Our first stop was Chico Malo for a margarita and chicken birria taco. We also had pizza that was delicious, local doughnut shop, Bosa, pad Thai at Thai Basil and ice cream at The Yard. Come hungry for this tour, there is a lot. It was an enjoyable afternoon and a very good way to acclimate to downtown for future afternoons or evenings in this area.

This was a wonderful tour... - This was a wonderful tour that included the history of some of the buildings we passed, and unusual facts about Phoenix. The stops for food were delightful. My favorite was the bread at the Italian restaurant. This is well worth the money.

highly recommend! - excellent communication and planning, great stories and info provided on the tour, outstanding food stops with unique decor and themes at each stop, plenty of food! i’ve been on several of these tours in many states and this one was one of the best! also - phoenix is a very clean city with very few homeless. i think we saw 3 and one was being pushed out by police so they have a good handle on it unlike other big cities. super fun vibe, friendly people! such a great tour and visit!

Great experience and fun! - You can expect an informative tour of a segment of downtown Phoenix with some decent food. Our guide, Peter, did a great job guiding our group of 12 from place to place. He also interjected some interesting history into a nice narrative. Margaritas at our first stop were very good and helped facilitate some good conversation and interaction amongst our group, which included folks from their 20s to 70s. A great way to meet people. In terms of food, we enjoyed the pasties the most.

A must do for sure . - I think good tours are great especially when you have a good guide and places that you go are delicious . This tour had both . The places we went was good and tasty food especially the Cornish pasty . The best was the cactus cloud though as the owner played music for us and even sat and chatted with us after most of the group Left . Peter our guide was good . Friendly and certainly full of information . The only thing I don’t like about tours like these is they are in a strict schedule and sometimes you feel rushed . When you are getting along with the other group Participants or really enjoying the atmosphere of one place , you want a little more time . We stopped at a donut shop which was all that great but a donut is a donut but I wanted an ice coffee and ordered one . Only took not even 5 minutes to get it and put my sugar in it and I felt like I was being told we were about to miss a train leaving . We were only going 5 minutes down the street . I could have caught up . But again, I understand time is money with these tours plus everything g is planned out

Not what we expected…. - Peter- our guide - was personable and informative. Very interesting tales of Phoenix history. Fun. But, a “food tour” ??. The food at each stop was paltry and unimpressive. None of the restaurants seemed to take it seriously…. An afterthought. Basically, it was a nice history tour… with snacks. Disappointed.

A bit disappointing - Leader was very good and we learned a lot about the neighborhood. Choices in the selection of food was quite unusual. Expected food related to the area. Instead had a weird assortment of tastes. Doughnuts? Thai food?
