- The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about elevation.
- There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own and notify supplier
- Minimum age is 3 years and guest must inform supplier they will provide car seats or boosters.
- Wheelchairs and walkers are acceptable as long as they fold up and can be slid into the vehicle. You must let the supplier know if you are bringing either.
- We do not guarantee pickup for all hotels. Even if your hotel is on the list, there may be a chance you’ll need to meet at an alternate location. Any guest staying outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale or Tempe will be required to meet at an alternate location to be determined by supplier. Tour supplier contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher.
- Supplier is not responsible for road or viewing conditions due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.
- FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Any tours booked after 7:00PM Arizona time the night before the tour date might not be confirmed. You will likely have to meet at another hotel for pick up. Our office will contact you prior to 6:00am on the tour date.

Detours is the best!! - We were off to a great start when our guide Mark H picked us up at our hotel in Scottsdale a few minutes ahead of our scheduled time. Along the ride to the Grand Canyon, he made sure everyone was comfortable and made a number of stops for the restroom and snacks. He shared lots of interesting facts and trivia about the area and its history. He was informative and entertaining. Of course the Grand Canyon is stunning, and we had ample time to enjoy the park. We drove through gorgeous scenery on the way to Sedona, where we had about an hour on our own. We had time for one last stop at Bell Rock before heading back to Scottsdale.

So Glad We Had this Experience - Marvelously wonderful adventure. Our guide Jordan is amazing, knowledgeable and attentive. Plenty of free time to explore the Canyon, with Jordan pointing out the best views and trails. The van was stocked with water for us and stopped every hour or so for bathroom and snack breaks. We made new friends with our van-mates, everyone was so friendly. Pro tips: Go on a weekday, if if at all possible, to avoid weekend crowds. Pack snacks and reading material for all the time in the van. It’s a 13-hour day, and worth every minute. We’ll remember this trip for a long long time. Thank you Detours!

Great tour - Mark was an awesome guide so patient with everyone and humorous and very professional and friendly. Trip to Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, and Sedona was absolutely beautiful and Fabulous

Phenomenal Experience - The tour was great. We've been to the Grand Canyon multiple times, but this was the 1st guided tour we've done. Not having to drive was a major benefit. We had Mark as our driver/tour guide. He was fantastic. He pointed out features we weren't aware of during the drive. Mark was a trove of information regarding the Grand Canyon. We recommend this day trip to anyone looking to see the Grand Canyon.

Great tour if you’ve only a day to spare . - Aldo was our excellent driver and animated guide the whole 12 hour experience of the trip from Phoenix to south rim and back . Great back ground info and a real encourager and motivator with his group . It was an excellent tour.

Great!! - This was a beautiful tour. Mark took us to the best spots and was very informative and personable. He kept us on schedule which means that we didn't have time to lollygag. If you want to take your time in shops, this might not be for you. If you want to see what you paid to see, then by all means, take this tour.

Great tour of Grand Canyon and Sedona - This was a great tour, made especially terrific because of our Tour Guide, Mark H. Mark was engaging and knowledgeable and has so many great personal experiences to share in addition to knowing pertinent facts. Obviously the views of Grand Canyon were spectacular. This tour has solidified that taking guided tours can be relaxing and enjoyable as we were able to view the trip from a different angle by not having to focus on maps and directions.

A fantastic day at the Grand Canyon and in Sedona - The most memorable part of this experience? ”The Grand Reveal” as our guide Sam called it. The view was breathtaking and Sam, in particular, made the experience so much more fun, intimate and thoughtful. Getting to hear his stories about his time in the Grand Canyon and Sedona is perhaps the best you can get from any guide. To anyone intereseted in seeing the Grand Canyon or that has a day over in Phoenix, I highly recommend doing this experience.
