Great zoo - It was a good experience, my wife and I loved it. We did go mid day so some of the animals we too hot to be out, which we understood. Lots to see and really cool animals, who are getting great care. We will be back for sure.

Memorable experience - The zoo was absolutely beautiful! For the most part all the animals in this zoo seemed healthy & well taken care of. My family & I got to ride a camel named Issac, which was cool & something we’d never think of doing at all, let alone at a zoo. Overall experience was exceptional!

Fun place to visit - Phoenix zoo has grown since I was there 20 yrs ago. They improving the animals exhibits all the time. You should go early in the morning before the animals go hide from the sun. Food prices are a little high, beer prices are crazy 14.00 for a beer.

Nice small zoo that’s easy to navigate - It’s a nice zoo and easy to walk through in half a day. Not huge like San Diego Zoo and you see they aren’t even trying to compete with that. It’s more laid back and you won’t get lost. The squirrel monkey area was cool because you can actually walk into the area and see them up close. I think of you keep expectations low and are looking for a fun easy to navigate Zoo most people will enjoy it

Not worth the money or the time. - The baby monkey area was a neat and new experience, the tigers and the white rhino were also cool. We didn't see elephants, bears, giraffes, leopards, and a lot of animals- the zoo seemed empty and not worth the money paid as we walked past empty exhibit after empty exhibit. I'd been before when my kids were small and this was just disappointing.

Not enough animals for the price. - Very few animals to view to justify the cost. There were tons more to see at the neighboring zoo in Pheonix in comparison We should not have to pay extra for a safari to see animals that we paid to get into see to start with.

Not worth it. - My class and I (no I am not a teacher, I'm a student) went to a field trip here. Everyone was excited because they were gonna get to see a lot of animals. But it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I was really hoping to see the fennec foxes and maned wolves but the maned wolves were asleep and the fennec foxes. Also looked forward to seeing the wolves and coyotes but they were also not there. In fact, most of the exhibits either had no animals or very few, like 2. There wasn't much to keep the animals occupied and they all looked depressed and even abused. Not to mention it was *very hot* the day we went to the zoo so you can imagine how the animals felt. The food, drinks, and stuff at the gift shop were way overpriced. At least the staff were nice. My advice would be to not visit this zoo. I would suggest Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park, it is way better than this zoo.
