*The meeting point is at the entrance of the Phoenix Zoo, where free parking is available. A brief 5-10 minute walk will take you to our starting point.

The experience begins with a gentle hike through the Sonoran Desert. Participants will learn about and appreciate the Saguaro cactus, desert plants, palm trees, waterscapes, and wildlife along the route. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Hole in the Rock, and Hunt’s Pyramid, with plenty of opportunities for photos. The professional, local guide is eager to answer any questions and take photos for you.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing (fitted sandals or tennis shoes are suitable). Bring bottled water, although water fountains are also available.

*Please note that there are no public restrooms at the meeting point at the entrance of the Phoenix Zoo. We will walk approximately 5-10 minutes from the Zoo to our starting point, where restrooms and water fountains are available.
