The temple is renowned for its massive reclining Buddha statue, which stretches 46 meters in length and is elegantly adorned with gold leaf. This statue symbolizes the Buddha’s entry into Nirvana and stands as one of Thailand’s most remarkable religious sculptures. The soles of the Buddha’s feet are intricately inlaid with mother-of-pearl designs that depict sacred Buddhist symbols.
In addition to the renowned statue, Wat Pho is celebrated for its beautifully adorned chedis, vibrant murals, serene courtyards, and traditional Thai architecture, making it one of the most captivating temples to visit in Bangkok.

- Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Known as the “Temple of Dawn,” Wat Arun is one of Bangkok’s most iconic and visually stunning temples. Situated on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in the historic Thonburi district, its graceful silhouette rises majestically above the water.
The temple’s origins date back to the Ayutthaya period, but it gained significance in the late 18th century when King Taksin established Thonburi as the capital of Siam following Ayutthaya’s fall. Legend has it that the king arrived here at dawn, which inspired the temple’s name.
Wat Arun is distinguished by its tall Khmer-style central prang, flanked by four smaller spires. The entire structure is adorned with colorful porcelain and ceramic fragments that glisten in the sunlight, creating a stunning mosaic effect. From the upper levels, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views over the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s historic skyline.

The entrance fee of THB 200 per person is NOT included and must be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
