Today, the place is used for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming the king’s guests, state guests, and other foreign dignitaries.\nYou will visit the key attractions around the Grand Palace like the Coronation Throne Hall, Royal Reception Hall, Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi, and the Royal Pantheon.\nWat Phra Kaew (known as the \’Temple of the Emerald Buddha\’ or locally as \’Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram\’) is located within the grounds of the Grand Palace and one of the most important Buddhist temples in Thailand. The temple enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot (the Emerald Buddha), the highly revered Buddha image meticulously carved from a single block of jade.\n\nPLEASE NOTE:\nEntrance fee of THB 500 per person is not included and has to be paid cash on day of the tour.\n\nTotal time includes traveling time from the meeting point.

- Remember that the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew are sacred places and you must dress appropriately. Shoulders and ankles need to be covered (for both men and women; sleeveless shirt with a scarf covering is also not allowed). No shorts, leggings, ripped jeans, slippers (flip-flops), or revealing tops, otherwise you won’t be allowed in.
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues since it might be too hard to get in and out the boat (there are no stairs at the piers).
