One of our highlights in Bangkok - Booking is so easy online. We went twice because we really wanted to cook the famous pad thai. First you meet up at the cooking class and then visit the market which os 5 min walking distance. Pimmy gives excellent advice!! Then the real fun begins as you get to cook your own lunch

Great day, great food!!! - Fabulous cookery class, Pimmy was an excellent teacher! We visited a local market where she explained about the variety of produce. Then back to the school where we learnt to make 5 dishes & the best part was the eating at the end. We have the recipes & plan to make these once back home. Highly recommended!!!

Pimmy and the sous chef... - Pimmy and the sous chef were fantastic! The class was fun and the food was even better. Prepare some extra time to arrive at the site as Bangkok traffic can be quite heavy and the class location is not in the city center.

Still craving this food days later! - Great experience! The market was interesting to see. Pimmy was a great teacher. We are all excited to go home and cook the same dishes. And it was nice to be able to control your own spice level for those of us who like to be spice adjacent.

Perfect cooking class - My friend and I loved the cooking class. Khun Pimmy took us to the market and explained Thai ingredients to us, before brining us back to the class location which is super well set up. We learned how to make classic Thai dishes. We were really put to work and both felt it's quite likely that we'll try to recreate the dishes at home. The class was not difficult. Even though Thai cooking is not simple, Pimmy and her colleague prepared the measurements and the cooking stations perfectly so that we could focus on the fun parts. Highly recommended!

Interesting and yummy - Class of 2 so food was the focus. The language was a bit of a barrier but the food was fun to make and delicious. We definitely learned a lot.

Rude and disrespectful instructor - Pammy was incredibly rude and offensive on several occasions. She’d laugh, make fun, and essentially bully us for asking questions that had “obvious” answers in Thai context… which we’re not aware of because we’re tourists and are actually trying to learn. I understand if it was a one-off situation and there a misunderstanding, but no! There was definitely an attitude question. Here’s examples: - Someone asked what’s her name and she showed attitude and told the guy that he should pay attention. There’s a a lot happening, we can miss stuff you know. - Someone asked “what’s this” (pointed at the weird looking tail sticking out of a shrimp). The response was: “have you never seen a shrimp” in a demeaning tone. - I asked if the local vendors accepted credit cards. She laughed and gave me a lecture about how “us Americans” live in a bubble. First of all, I’m from a third world country, second of all, vendors throughout different 3rd world countries do accept credit cards. A simple yes/no would have sufficed. Now the actual cooking was fine and I see potential. It just felt like she wasn’t passionate about the job and the owner doesn’t really care about quality control. It was surprisingly to me that *all* the other tours I’ve had were great and the guides/hosts were one of the nicest and most accommodating. Message to the owner: We’re paying for this class and we’re trying to learn about your culture. Food is a great medium for you to educate us about your culture. Be respectful and train your employees to be respectful.
