Interesting and smooth - Private is the way to travel in style. No waiting for others, stay as long as you want. Driver was very safe, guide was very nice and explained a lot.

Secret Ayutthaya Ruins - The passion and knowledge Gira portrayed regarding the wars between Burma and Siam and the Rama Kings really brought to life the ruins visited around Ayutthaya

Hot, but happy in Ayutthaya - Amazing visit to the ancient city and the many ways in the area. Our guide, Pui, not only knew the history, but was great at taking pictures. Our driver, Ton, was safe and skilled in Bangkok traffic. Glad we made the decision to do this trip.

Absolutely incredible tour from Bond! - Bond was one of the most impressive tour guides we've had in our many, many travels abroad. She was thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly well informed, bringing history to life and tying the many pieces of information we craved together to make a holistic and deeply engaging experience. She always had an answer ready for the numerous questions we asked and taught us so much about culture, history, religion, and brought us to a fantastic noodle place for lunch as well. Truly we are so thankful for her guidance, experience, and talent!

Ayuthaya private tour - Friendly guide & flexibility - This private tour of Ayutthaya was very pleasant and comfortable. I liked this tour as we could start a bit later, 10.30am which was nice compared to other tours. It also didn’t have any extra add ins like floating markets or river cruises like many of the other tours have, which we were not interested in. The guide Natalie was very kind and friendly and flexible with us. The car was very comfortable and we arrived at the first site in about 1hr15. We visited many of the Wat in Ayuthaya, including some lesser known ones, and the guide gave us some history and lots of time for exploring and photos. Being a private tour there was flexibility to pick and choose the sites. She also brought us to a very tasty local restaurant for lunch. Very nice day out and the drive back to our hotel in Bangkok was also quick.

Good with some room for improvement. - It was ok. The sites visited were good and the guide had some interesting information, but much of the information was repeated multiple times which slowed down the tour quite a bit since we would stop each time. Sometimes these multi-stop tours can be rushed, but we probably could have fit in at least one more location without rushing if the repetitive stop-and-talks were cut out. Other than that it was a good tour and the guide made some good adjustments on-the-fly.

Very expensive tour. - Very poor value. Tour is extremely expensive for what you get. To visit one temple would be enough as they are basically all the same. Ayutthaya is only 18 miles from Bangkok.

Incredibly Bad Tour Guide - Very disappointing experience despite other strong reviews. Natalie was our guide and she was incredibly rude and we barely learned anything on the tour. She was basically a glorified driver - she would give us a few generic facts at the beginning of each temple and then tell us to explore in our own. She then repeatedly scolded us for going too quickly but we had no one to guide us around and point things out! She made us feel dumb for some of the questions we asked and seemed genuinely annoyed by our presence. Not sure how other people found her to be a good guide but she was hands down the worst we had in our 2 weeks in Thailand.
