Kid-friendly & senior-friendly snorkeling in Phu Quoc - We chose On Bird due to their focus on safety, their provision of child-sized equipment, and the fact that they would have a guide in the water with us. All factors exceeded expectations, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Pick-up was prompt, and our guide - John - gave us the rundown on what to expect and all safety guidelines. Our group was 4 adults (2 of which were seniors) and one 8 year old, with only one of us professing to be a strong swimmer (and only one of us had ever snorkeled before). Safety continued to be the number one subject as we headed for the first stop to try on gear and get acclimated.
Gear for our daughter was perfectly sized - she was very comfortable with her mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket. All gear was well maintained and comfortable (they had asked for sizes beforehand, so it was the right size for everyone).
John was amazing - friendly and knowledgeable from the start, and very patient with our newbie group. At one point, he was pulling part of our group through the water while they hung onto a buoy. And, he "showed off" and performed some tricks underwater to the delight of our daughter.
I have never been snorkeling, so I can't compare the reefs here to other places. I'm sure there are much better examples in the world, but I was absolutely transported. It was beautiful, and amazing, and I definitely will do more based on this experience. I can only hope other tour operators perform on the same level as On Bird!

Perfect snorkeling experience for families with young kids - We had a terrific time today on our snorkeling trip with three generations of my family. Cony and Lee were fantastic with my boys (5 & 8), allowing the adults to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the boys’ safety. Lee towed my 5 year old around the entire time, allowing him to just relax and look around. We really appreciated the fact that they provided educational information about the coral and fish before we got into the water. I also appreciated the first stop at a beach to familiarize everyone with the equipment and make sure we were all able to participate safely. While the reef we visited wasn’t as colorful as it may have been in years past, it was still fun to see all the types of coral and all the colorful fish. Overall, it was a very professional operation that I highly recommend to anyone, especially those with young children.

First family snorkelling trip! - My family and I had a great time. OnBird's guide(Mintee) is great and my kids loved interacting with him. My kids felt safe in the water though this was their first time doing snorkelling. He really took great care of them throughout the whole tour, checking in on them every now and then to ensure they are okay in the water. Because of his help, my wife and I were able to freely snorkeled around without worrying about our kids.
The spots that he brought us have lots of coral reefs and small fish to see.
We truly enjoyed the trip! Highly recommended.

Top notch service for a fun day trip - Highly recommended. Onbird offers a tailored experience for families and kids. Our guide, Mintee, was very kind, profesional and supportive. The whole team is extremely service and safety minded from the driver to the boat staff. The material supplied is well maintained and very clean (this would include everything from the boat to the diving equipment). The presented diving spots are excellent for Phu quoc and among the best for the gulf of Thailand. Taking all the above into account, definetly one the best outfit operating in south east asia for a fun and personalised family snorkeling trip operating within the highest safety standards. Definitely the best in phu Quoc, by far.

Great family day - Mintee was an amazing guide. Did this with my 4 and 8 year old daughters who had never snorkeled before. The guides made sure everyone had a wonderful trip and left with a love of snorkeling and appreciation of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Our First Amazing Snorkeling - I really like the view, and it is very safe and comfortable with the guide, Mr. Mintea, for sometimes the current is kind of big, and the guide would always protect us. The stops come from beginner to advanced too, so we can always get some practice. The first stop is more like a warm up which was so easy that I almost forgot that I was snorkeling in the ocean. The second stop is like a “get ready” , we all wore life jackets even though we all could swim. The third stop was definitely a challenge with fun, bug currants and waves with beautiful and clear underwater world.
It is filled with fish, sea urchin and various beautiful creatures and has crystal clear water, with only a tiny bit of plankton and seaweed blocking the sight. Unfortunately the coral is a little bleached, I am sad to say. But mostly, the sight is very beautiful and enjoyable. We got to see beautiful Nemo which were different than we used to see but still very adorable and beautiful. Last stop, we had some rest at the beautiful beach to get some rest and rinse. Looking at the sunset with fresh ice cold beverages, we had one of the most unforgettable experiences of snorkeling with OnBird.

The day tasted better with salt!!!!! - This was one of our most memorable trips. James and Dee Dee are such wonderful people. They were very warm and welcoming. Dee Dee is too cute. You guys have a lovely team. We saw beautiful corals and fish. Super amazing…We love Vietnam!!!!!!!🇻🇳

Thanks all for wonderful experience. - Although visibility was limited, it was a great experience. It was a very special experience for us to see the corals and fish in the water up close. The person who guided me gave very good information, and I was grateful that he stayed with the kids. Next time, I definitely want to visit again especially in March and experience the sea with a good view. I hope to see you again.

With Onbird it is more than a snorkeling experience ! - I warmly recommend Onbird.
The drivers were really professional.
Our instructor and guide was just perfect. 🤩 Very good pedagogy before and during our snorkeling time, very careful, always checking our security and comfort and of course the snorkeling sites were wonderful for the corals and fishes 🐠🪸
