Definitely take this tour! - This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken! Every part of it was a highlight. The caves, James Bond Island! Floating Muslim village (we arrived at sunset as the call to prayer was being performed) the dinner was outstanding. The guide Anwar was the best!

Fantastic day out with the crew - Really enjoyed the trip out to the sea and island hopping. The crew is fantastic and takes really good care of the group. Remember to bring clothes to change. It will be wet.

What a cool adventure - What a cool adventure. Definitely worth having the pros organize everything. I wouldn’t have done most of this stuff if I had to organize it on my own. 10/10.

Wonderful trip - Wawa & team gave a great tour experience, Experienced, professional & fun...explained every part of the day so no stress. The experience was well planned out & everything we hoped for & more....well worth the day out. Our favourite parts were the canoes & bioluminescence.....even in the rain it was absolutely stunning. Practical info that is missing in reviews: The boat has a small toilet in case of need. There is a toilet on James Bond Island & at the restaurant.....take tissues/wipes with you. Take two towels as you get wet at multiple times & spare shorts as was quite chilly on the way back in wet shorts. Book as far away from the full moon as you can to give best bioluminescence experience....is a specific type of bioluminescence that doesn't photograph well....but is stunning to experience. What to wear, easy drying clothes....ie swimmers & easy removals layers. We went to a Muslim restaurant so something covering your swimmers/chest to be respectful...shorts were fine. You are shoeless on the boat but if not comfortable on shelled sand....take water shoes for some points.

Had so much fun would recommend it - The trip was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and well trained. The schedule of the trip was good started about 3pm and ended around 9 which is convenient (not having to wake up super early in the morning) went to approx 3 islands yet the last one which was the reason I booked this was a bit disappointing as I imagined the bioluminescent sand was a bit more obvious but I mean that’s nature. Overall I’d rate this trip 8.5/10 definitely worth trying!!

Lovely trip! - The trip was well organized. Weather was not the best and Alex the tour guide ensured that timings and tour plan were adjusted accordingly. This also includes visit to James Bond Island! Bioluminescence could be a hit n miss per weather conditions; but worth the try; we had about 5-10 min and it’s a natures wonder! The remaining part was lovely too; canoing through the lagoon and swimming. Dinner was better n tastier than most other excursions we went on

Disappointing despite the crew's best efforts - We went with the 5 Star Marine on the Bioluminescence trip. The trip was well organized and the crew truly did their best to make it a good experience...but right now, the weather in Thailand is disgusting. And all those beautiful views that you experience during this trip - without sunshine, it's all very bleak and quite depressing. We only saw white bioluminescence, which wasn't described on the website - white ones aren't very impressive, I guess you can see them fine in the dark, but they don't "wow" you - they don't have that "magic" feel that the blue and green do. If there was information mentioned in the trip description that the plankton you're gonna see will likely be plain white, I wouldn't pay even a dollar for it. So, if the weather is sunny and you don't really care about seeing the bioluminescent plankton, I guess this is a pretty good trip. But anything else than perfect weather, or if you want to see the blue plankton - it's absolutely not worth it. I know nobody can control the weather, but there should be a visible disclaimer that the views are 3/10 without the sun and the plankton is absolutely not as pictured in the advertising photo.
