The rationale behind its popularity lies in the fact that Tugela Falls holds the world record for being the longest multi-drop waterfall with a cumulative fall of 938 meters.
The night can be experienced either by setting up tents under the open sky full of stars or by camping in a cave with a panoramic view of the National Park. Witness a terrain unmatched anywhere else. The Drakensberg Escarpment spans across more than 200 kilometers boasting an average fall of 1000 meters.
After the 7 kilometer long hike, cool down by diving into the Tugela River. The trek also includes the use of chain ladders or through a challenging path known as the gully.
