The perfect package! - This was the perfect way to have it all…wineries, breweries, gifts, good food..and even chocolate! And no worries about directions on how to get there. No-one had to do the driving and miss out on the amazing scenery. You get to choose what interest you, from antique cars and museums to liquid refreshments of all sorts. Our driver was excellent and knowledgeable (Rue). Definitely would recommend this.

Wine tour experience via Hop On Hop Off Bus - RU, our Hop On Hop Off Bus driver was excellent. Told us about wineries, history and general info. I recommend this type of wine tasting experience to all - just make sure to plan it and make necessary appointments in advance.

Great trip around the wineries - Really enjoyed our hop on hop off trip around the wineries. Ru our driver was very helpful in explaining how it all worked. Although ours was a last minute booking, we took on board the advice to book a tasting session and lunch beforehand. We did fewer stops but relaxed, sat back and enjoyed each one as they are in such lovely settings. Cloudy Bay tasting session was great and Allan Scott Winery lunch memorable. Such a lovely day. Thanks Ru, including the pick of the pops on the way back!

Brilliant day with the wine - no bother lots of fun - A barrel of laughs in the Marlborough region visiting and sampling at the vineyards. How good is the bus idea? Ru, our driver and guide was a great guy It swings by 24 cellar doors every hour and you just turn up ready for the next trip to another. My wife seems to be taking it very seriously and making notes. By the end of the day we were singing along to “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown, with the kiwi’s

Best experience if you're in Picton on a cruise ship - The perfect way to explore the region and see everything Marlborough has to offer. We never had any long waits for the buses and there was always enough seats for everyone. Drivers were lovely and informative (extra points for keeping track of where everyone was!) The organisation of the company made it seamless from getting off our cruise ship and onto one of their buses, and then back onto one of the cruise ship shuttles at the end of the day.

Great Way to tour Marlborough - We were underwhelmed with the tours offered by our cruise line and I was very happy that I found this option. It really was a fantastic way to see this wonderful wine region. We got off the ship as soon as we could and wound up on the first bus out. We stopped at Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, well worth a visit. We beat the cruise ship tours here and had the place to ourselves with lots of time to chat with a very knowledgeable volunteer. We also chose to hop off at Wither Hills winery. We had made a reservation in advance for wine tasting (a must) but it was so lovely there and the wine so good that we stayed for lunch too. The busses were for the most part on time, there wasn't a long wait nor was there a time that there wasn't space for us. This was a very well done, easy, and nice way to see the area even if you don't hop off very often. We booked in advance but noted many folks walking up to their storefront (directly across from where the cruise ship shuttle drops off) to book. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour for a great way to visit the Marlsborough Wineries - We thoroughly enjoyed our day on this tour. It was just the two of us. We opted to have Hop on Hop off give us an itinerary suggestion and then make reservations for our tastings. Some wineries require a reservation but some do not. We were given a huge welcome at each one. It is a little rushed as you want to be ready for the pickup time. But that is our choice. We could always just hang back and relax. Overall we preferred the smaller boutique wineries. The driver was great. Very fun. Explained things well. And gave general information about the area and New Zealand.

Great way to see the Wineries - We booked this tour at the Picton office. Staff were helpful explaining how it works (the routes & timetable were a bit bewildering at first). We got the hang of it, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Visited the car museum, had lunch, and went to a couple of tastings. All good fun.

Improvements to scheduling required! - Had to sprint to get on one minibus after my first stop in Blenheim when it was preparing to leave early, even though I got there about 15 minutes before the departure time. Later I had to wait 55 minutes at the last stop to get a minibus back to Picton, when the service was stated to depart every 30 minutes. One driver in the middle of the day was on time to arrive and depart (he was on loan from the Queenstown service), had good banter and was an overall credit to the company. Altogether, my day was unnecessarily anxiety-inducing because at least one driver didn't pay attention to the stated departure times.
