Amazing - Seeing all the animals. Standing next to the elephants and holding a snake. The host(s) were excellent. I learnt a lot and enjoyed my day. It really was well worth my money.

Great trip - My friend Sarah and I from New Zealand were hosted like queens during our trip. Tema was our driver and guide and he was magnificent. We enjoyed the day thoroughly. Temba showed such care and gave us information about everywhere we went. I would gladly recommend this tour again

Waste of Time and a Big Waste of Money… Thumbs Down! - The game reserve was most enjoyable, and our guide was fantastic. After that, it went downhill. It took a long time to get to the lion and elephant park due to construction. This was a joke! Seriously, a gate is opened and you get to see either 5 female lions or 5 males lions but not both! Your guide drives you in and drives in a circle, and then out… a total of less than 5 minutes. And the individual who opened and closed the gate asked us for a tip! The trip onto the dirt road was long and when we got there, we found out that there are only 2 elephants. The two “trainers” called them to come down from the hill. We did take photos and feed them carrots, so it was ok but too much travel to consider it worth the time. The two “trainers” also asked us for a tip. Next, we went to the Valley of 1000 Hills. The Zulu dances took about 20 minutes and then we were asked for a donation! The drive home was long, and it seemed that we were on the road more than we were enjoying the tour. And, for 2 people to pay over $300 US dollars for a time consuming ride to do this tour is ridiculous. Why not make it group tours… We truly believe it was a tourist trap and a waste of money. We did tip our driver… but 8 to 6 (10 hours) to be driven around is truly not fun and a waste of money. We would not do this again, and we certainly wouldn’t recommend, especially at this price. Perhaps, a group tour, you should only pay $50. The problem is taking advantage of cruise ships coming in and gouging… only private tours and no group tours. It is not worth it!!!

All three parks were a great way to see Africa's native animals - The tour would have been fantastic if our guide spoke. She didn’t say much the whole day although she was polite. No information about the animals, where we were going, facts about the country etc etc. We relied on Google. The places we went to were worth a visit though.

A teaser - Tala reserve was amazing. But only had about an hour on the truck. Lion park visit was just a 5-minute stay in the car looking at a lion pride. Overall it was kind like a teaser rather than the real safari experience I was paying over 200 bucks for.

Mediocre parks & beat up car - The good - Driver Silas was polite, on time and a good driver (got a little lost, but got on track with minimal delay.) The mediocre - these parks have minimal animals - nothing like a real safari can offer. The bad - the description says water provided - not true. And the description says we would be on 4X4’s in Tala - but we were on a giant open air bus with 22 people we did not know. The ugly - the car that picked us up was a beat up wreck with no air conditioning & one window did not roll down. It should not have been used to pick up tourists.
