A Journey Through Time and Nature

As I embarked on the Sri Lanka Two-Week Tour, I was filled with anticipation. The allure of Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes and rich history had long captivated my imagination. Our guide, Jaya, a fountain of knowledge and warmth, introduced us to the city’s hidden gems, from the serene Seema Malakaya Meditation Centre to the historic Dutch Period Museum. As we explored, I couldn’t help but reflect on the delicate balance between urban development and the preservation of cultural heritage—a theme that resonates deeply with my work in conservation.

Embracing the Wild Heart of Sri Lanka

Leaving the city behind, we ventured into the heart of Sri Lanka’s natural wonders. The journey to Habarana was a revelation, as we traversed landscapes that seemed untouched by time. Climbing to the summit, I marveled at the ingenuity of its creators, who harnessed the power of nature to craft a fortress that defied the ages.
