A visit to Portugal mandates travel to Porto, but a stop at Douro Valley (recognized as World Heritage) is essential if you’re in Porto. Our day initiates very early with our driver picking you up to embark on your adventure to Portugal’s North, passing through the mesmerizing valleys of Bussaco National Park and Mondego River, where you’ll witness the magnificent hills reaching towards the sky, prior to ascending them to reach the Douro Valley, travelling at an altitude of approximately 1000 meters. After marveling at the Douro Valley, we pause at one of the oldest wine producers in the locality for a Port Wine Tasting, accompanied by Regional Cheese, with the Douro Valley in view. Following this, we carry on our journey to Porto, where you will have roughly 4 hours to discover the city, before returning to Lisbon. The crown jewel of this tour is the Douro Valley.
