Beautiful Douro Valley - Small group size was perfect. Emanuel our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much history and information about the region.

Great tour while staying in Pinhão! - Philip was an excellent tour guide. He is a local who knows the area very well and is passionate about the region. This tour had a great balance of driving, stops, and a boat ride. We started with a drive up the big hill of one side of the river to his hometown village where we stopped and he shared some history. From there we continued up and went around stopping at some stunning MiraDuoros along the way. We came back into town for a Port tour and tasting and then had lunch at a local restaurant. From there we went on one hour guided boat ride on the calm Duoro River. Afterwards, our last ride was up the hill from downtown to a winery for a tasting and tour. We ended at a stunning miraduoro with views of everywhere we traveled. We stayed two nights in Pinhão without a car and this was the perfect day trip to get all you need in this region. Although this tour was worth every euro, we were disappointed to find that tour is significantly marked up online. They offered the same tour for €40 less at the kiosk. Again, it was still worth it for a small guided tour!

pinhao wow - Echo other reviews. Phillip was a great driver. "Best driver in Pinhao". Apparently he has a certificate:). Learned lots , drank lots, laughed lots.

Perfect experience to get to know Douro better - Very good. The visit was very well planned and everything went very well. Without a doubt, a good experience to get to know the Douro. The friendliness of the guides greatly improved the experience. We did a full day visit, with several wine tastings, lunch in a typical restaurant and a boat trip

Fantastic - We had a wonderful day on our tour of the Douro Valley. Our guide was great and so knowledgeable. The 2 vineyards we toured were delicious! Who knew drinking port and wine could be so much fun. The cruise on the river was amazing.

Visit to Pinhao - Perfect day with Jacinta. Our guide was very kind and she showed us the most beautiful views🥰 We tasted very good Port and very good wines. The wine tours are really good.

Very welcoming - Philippe was amazing. So knowledgeable of the area and really made us feel so welcome to his community on the tour. Would highly recommend this day trip. Met some lovely people and made to feel special for my birthday.

Personal and fun tour of the valley around Pinhao - The tour was a full day with amazing views high up the valley, and constant commentary by Philip, who lives nearby. We enjoyed the port tasting at Crofts and bought a bottle. The lunch was a lot of fun - but it was in Pinhao, right next to our hotel, which I suppose is a small village, as advertised. According to the picture we thought we would be in a car alone, but we were in a minibus with 6-8 people. That made the day more interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour - A good tour led by knowlegable locals. We visited view points, winereys and had a great lunch. It was though a bit sour to see the price of 95 euro on site booking for the same tour instead of 135 euro if you book online.
