Food Lover's Dream - Tour was well paced with a small group and great guide. We visited many markets, cafés, and restaurants to sample many types of local foods. Guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the local life in Piraeus. Guide was fluent in English and easy to hear. Highly recommended tour.

Piraeus Food Walking Tour - A fun way to get to know Piraeus - Earlier this month (September 2024) six of us joined the Piraeus Food Walking Tour via the GetYourGuide App. Dina the guide was very responsive and accommodating from the moment we booked the tour from UK two weeks before arrival. We met her on the day of the tour. She was friendly and knowledgeable about Piraeus. We were introduced to places of interest there .We were taken to the markets, and to numerous places (lost count!) to sample Greek specialties. We were taken to a grocery shop to sample spinach and cheese pie, and different types of olives. After trying authentic Greek coffee made in the traditional way, we had a delicious lunch at a local eatery with Greek wine. We eventually ended up sampling some delicious sweet snack somewhere near the seafront. For the food we couldn't finish, Dina wrapped them up for us to take back to the hotel. This food tour was one of our highlights of our 2 weeks Greek/Turkey holiday. Dina was an excellent guide and we highly recommend her food tour if you happen to be in Piraeus/Athens.

Must do in Piraeus and go hungry! - My wife and I went on the "foodie" tour yesterday and had a great time. The tour started off in the largest bakery I have ever seen. We then toured the local fish market, stopped-off and picked-up fruit at a local fruit stand, then we ate freshly made Spanakopita (similar to a spinach lasagna), had Greek Coffee and wrapped it up with a pork sandwich, (I believe it's called Souvlaki). We were completely full and had enough left-overs for the following day. The guide was very informative and gave us a great overview of the history and sights to see in the local area. Must do in Piraeus and go hungry!

A perfect afternoon in Piraeus—delicious and fun! - We had such a fantastic time with Dina exploring Piraeus and enjoying Greek food around the neighborhood. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, and we loved having an expert to guide us to the best shops and cafes. All the food was delicious, and overall, it was a fantastic afternoon. We came back with very full bellies, leftovers, and gifts for friends back home. We were traveling with our teenage daughter and my mom (71 years old), and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended!

Foodelicious - Dina is such a bright personality and highly motivated guide, she won't disappoint..Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Dina, with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start, the tour was extremely cultural & yummy. I truly enjoyed these delicious restaurants...hidden gems in the port land of Piraeus. My favourite was the spankopita accompanied by a local beer. We also took the opportunity to take amazing photos around the Zea Marina. I highly recommend this food tour

Highly recommended !!! :D - This tour was the highlight of our Piraeus stopover. By the end of the tour everyone was full of food and knowledge and Greek food has now become my favorite! Will go back home and try to cook some of the tastings as Dina shared the recipes. Yummy! We brought our little 1 year old along and Dina was amazing in making sure we were comfortable and attended to all our needs while we grown ups relaxed and ate a lot! Wonderful area to explore even with a stroller!
