Delve into Piran, an appealing fishermen’s village that stands as the most preserved cultural treasure in Slovenian Istria. Its Venetian architecture, the medieval meandering alleys, and the stunning picturesque seaside compose the town’s charm. The journey will then proceed to the Karst region to witness the awe-inspiring karstic cave at Skocjan, a part of the UNESCO protection list. Sampling the local Karst Prosciutto ham with Teran wine – a specialty exclusively produced in Karst region, is a compulsory part of any visit to this region. The tour’s next location is Lipica stud farm, the birthplace of the white Lipizzan horse, specifically bred for the Spanish riding school in Vienna. The trip concludes with a return to Koper.
