Pisa - Our english speaking driver will be waiting for you under your Cruise Ship at 8.00 am in Livorno port.
Your day will start with a visit to the city of Pisa, where you’ll have time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower, and the other monuments of the square including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Tower began to lean during construction in the 12th century, due to soft ground which could not properly support the structure’s weight, and it worsened through the completion of construction in the 14th century. The structure was stabilized by remedial work between 1993 and 2001, which reduced the tilt to 3.97 degrees. Climbing to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa is a unique experience and it offers a very beautiful view of the town. The base ticket price is 20 -
Piazzale Michelangelo - The second stop will be at Piazzale Michelangelo near Florence.
Piazzale Michelangelo is the best square with a panoramic view of Florence. The square, dedicated to the Renaissance sculptor Michelangelo, has bronze copies of some of his marble works found elsewhere in Florence: the David and the four allegories of the Medici Chapel of San Lorenzo. At the end of the visit we will drive inside Florence town. -

You will be into the heart of the Renaissance, through the buildings and works of art visited, you’ll be able to know the beginnings of that period as well as the atmosphere and life in the Florence of 14th and 15th centuries.

The perfect Livorno port excursion with Andrea! - Our group of 6 had the most amazing port excursion from Livorno with Andrea! Communication with Andrea leading up to the day of our excursion was prompt and thorough. We wanted to fit in as much as possible for our one day in port (Pisa, Florence, and wine tasting at a Tuscan farm) and Andrea made it happen! During the planning phase, he provided a detailed proposed itinerary, advised us for what time to purchase our Pisa Tower tickets, and suggested a restaurant for us in Florence and for what time to make the lunch reservation.
On the day of our excursion, Andrea was waiting for us right at the cruise ship exit and then off we went. The van was clean and comfortable. First, Andrea dropped us off at Pisa Tower and promptly picked us up when we were done. Then we headed to Florence where he dropped us off at the restaurant for our lunch reservation. His restaurant recommendation was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious! After lunch he toured us around Florence providing commentary on our surroundings, and he stopped at some of the main sites for us to get out for photos. It was raining, but thankfully Andrea was prepared with several umbrellas. Then we drove to a beautiful winery in the Tuscan hills where he had arranged a private wine tasting. It was the perfect ending to our day. Andrea then drove us back to the cruise ship with plenty of time left to spare before our ship's "all aboard" time.
