Fantastic Tour - Our tour guide was fantastic, really informative and answered any questions the group had, highly recommend this if you want to see and try the local food and drink. You'll discover some hidden gems along the way. Its no joke when the reviews say come hungry as there's so much to try. Would absolutely book this again, we had so much fun with the guide and others who also booked onto the tour.

Recommended tour - This was a very nice and interesting tour. The guide was excellent, she was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was really good and it was fun to taste different specialities from Pisa.

Knowledgeable Guide & Delicious Food - Our guide, Celia, was friendly and full of knowledge. She took the time to get to know us in order to make the experience more personal. She taught us many things about the area of Pisa, including history and how to find good gelato. Highly recommend - thank you Celia!

A wonderful evening with a superb guide - If I could add pluses I would. Don’t eat before you go! The food and drinks are delicious. Everyone was very nice. My guide, Celia, explained all what I was having, was very pleasant and even walked with me back towards my hotel. I love learning the culture through the food. If I’m back near Garibaldi Square, I’ll be stopping in for more! The meeting place was easy to find and Celia was there early with her flag to meet me. At the end of the night she also shared with me a surprise. I won’t spoil your surprise by telling you what it was. I highly recommend this experience.

Excellent food tour in Pisa! - The tour was brilliant! We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour that day and our guide Celia was lovely and very informative. There was a great spread of traditional foods. Would definitely recommend

A Must in Pisa - If you do anything in Pisa, do this tour. The food and drinks were AMAZING (come hungry because you will eat a lot of food). Our guide Andrea, though, truly made this experience so intimate and special. She was such a kind, hilarious, and informative tour guide. We cannot recommend this tour enough!

Best food tour ever!!!! - We did this tour with Andrea. Due to the COVID we’re just the two of us so t was like a private tour! Don’t eat anything before the tour, trust me. We went to 4 different places and we eat a lot!!! We also drink a lot ;) The restaurants and bars we visited were run by local people and all of them were amazing. I comprarle recommend this tour. It worth the money

Excelent guide, highly recomended - Alesssia, our tour guide, did an excelent Job. Our kids of 10 and 12 enjoyed a lot the cathedral visit thanks to her. The visit was interesting and fun at the same time. We used the headphones she gave us and we could follow her explanations loud and clear. She did the tour in an excelent Spanish, as this is the language we chose.

Cathedral and tower with ticket option - Guide was excellent. She was there waiting for us a good 10 minutes early. She was easy to find as had the orange notice raised high. Her English was good and she answered all the questions. The only issue we had was that it was 1st November (All Saints day) and a public holiday in Italy. As a result much of the cathedral was closed. However, she still gave a detailed explanation and had photos on her phone describing the areas of the cathedral and Pisa that we were not able to see.

Brilliant tour with Andrea - We had searched and contacted many companies to arrange a private tour of Pisa for us and my teenage son. We eventually came across DiscoveryPisa. What struck me was their simple webpage with great explanations. I emailed them and Andrea responded straightaway. I would highly recommend this tour company because they really know how to value their customers. I had lots of questions and Andrea answered them so promptly as soon as I sent the email. She clearly set out options for the tour and made suggestions for making it a great day. Other companies take days to respond and we valued Andrea's prompt and very helpful responses. She gave us advise on how to get the train from Florence to Pisa. Compared to other tour companies 199 Euros including entrance tickets was amazing, Andrea took us around the city first providing excellent description of the town. Tourists just head straight to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but Andrea provided us with more in depth understanding of the area which was just brilliant. My son and us were enthralled by her excellent insight and history. She is very passionate about the area and this came across in her tour. She took time to explain about the area near the Pisa and took us to the cathedral, baptistery, cemetery and the leaning tower, She also gave excellent recommendation for lunch and provided directions back to the station. Overall Andrea was an amazing guide. I would highly recommend her and DiscoveryPisa. They really care about giving a in depth guide to the city as well as the famous leaning tower. The costs are very good compared to other companies, What stood out was how quickly they responded to questions and pulled together an itinerary and they worked with us to make our day great, Thank you for an amazing day!
