- Pisa - A comfortable one-hour drive will take you to Pisa. As soon as you arrive, you will pass by the historic suburbs and encounter Piazza dei Cavalieri, the original political center of medieval Pisa. It was later transformed by Cosimo I de’ Medici into the center for the Order of the Knights of Santo Stefano, created to defend the Mediterranean coasts from Turkish and pirate fleets. At the heart of the square you will find the statue of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, made in 1596. Behind it stand Palazzo della Carovana and Palazzo degli Anziani del Popolo, which was transformed by Giorgio Vasari. Piazza dei Cavalieri is the location of the Scuola Normale Superiore, commissioned by Napoleon based on the model of the Parisian Ercole. The greatest Italian professors, such as Pacinotti, Carducci, Pascoli, Fermi and Rubbia, have all studied and taught here. You will then arrive at the breathtaking Leaning Tower of Pisa, the unmistakable tilting tower that has people marvel from all over the world!

Perfect Tuscany Adventure for All Ages – A Must-Do Tour! - We had an incredible experience with the all-day Tuscany tour from Florence. Alessandro, our masterful guide, ensured we visited Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena all in one day, including a fabulous lunch at an organic winery with breathtaking views. He picked us up and dropped us off from where we were staying in Florence, knew the best spots for minimal walking around the towns, and picked us up at the ideal locations so that we didn’t have to backtrack at all. Alessandro also provided the ideal paths and areas to explore in each town so we really felt like we got the highlights and it is all doable in a day. As a family of five with a 9-year-old and two seniors, this was perfect. Five stars—don't hesitate to book this tour!

A perfect tour/tour guide - no notes!!! - I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR ENOUGH!!! Alessandro is an absolute pro, and made this experience one of the highlights of my honeymoon. Any person that ever tells me they are visiting Tuscany/Florence from here on out, I will INSIST they spend a day taking a tour through UNIQUE TUSCANY. 1. Every tour is customizable, so while Alessandro will make wonderful suggestions, he is great about making sure he can accommodate specific requests. 2. I cannot get over his vast breadth of knowledge, and how generously he shares it. We learned so much about each sight we visited, interesting facts about everything we drove past, history about Florence + Tuscany, about how different wine and olive oil producers make their products - there was nothing we asked about that he didn't have thorough answers to. 3. His passion and love for Florence and Tuscany is infectious. 4. He made wonderful recommendations for every category of activity we were interested in. 5. He makes the entire day seamless, as you are dropped off and picked up at the most convenient spots. He made it so that you never had to double back anywhere to meet back up with him - you can truly make the most of your time in each location you visit. I urge you to book through this company. Fantastic day trip! - Alessandro was such a wonderful driver and guide! He answered all my questions prior to our trip and was so accommodating! He took us to Pisa, San Giminiano and Pisa and gave us great recommendations for lunch, gelato and shopping. He was born and raised in Tuscany so knows the area really well. Highly recommend booking a day trip with him!

Amazing day in Tuscany - We had an amazing time with Alessandro, he picked us up from our Airbnb on time and drove his comfortable van with our family of four (2 teenagers). We went to Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena, he dropped us and picked us up later in every city, he showed us the beautiful Tuscan country side and recommended an amazing lunch and many other food/wine options, perfect day and experience!

Pisa with San gimignano - Alessandro is amazing, very informative and helpful.
He gave us very good tour of Pisa, San gimignano and also took us to hill top view of Florence city.
He picked us up on time from our hotel and overall was a very hassle free relaxing trip with tons of information and beautiful site seeing. We esp enjoyed Pisa he arranged for our tour guide who was also great and also the ancient village was beautiful

The best Tuscany tour in one day - Our driver, Alessandro, showed us the major things to see and drove us very close to them. He found us a super restaurant in the country side with typical Tuscan menu. Flexibility with time allocated in each city, enthusiastic explanations and safe driving. I will recommend this tour to all my friends.

Tour of Tuscany, winery, sunshine and a wonderful host - Our family of five (Mum,Dad and three children aged 10 - 15) spent the day with Alessandro and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.
A very full day, Alessandro arrived ahead of time and was waiting outside our accomodation to pick us up at 9am. We visited Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena. Alessandro booked a wonderful lunch for us at a winery which was such a special experience. I highly recommend.

A truly wonderful experience - Alessandro was exceptionally kind and extremely knowledgeable. Our first stop was Pisa. When we arrived back to the vehicle Alessandro provided us with bottles of cold water which was very appreciated ( very hot day). We then took a breathtaking scenic route to San Gimigagno..and had such lovely conversations with Alessandro along the way. We had a few hours to explore and had the best gelato . We then headed to Sienna..Alessandro helped us plan a walking path down, and what sites to see..
It was a beautiful day
Alessandro was very professional, very kind, extremely knowledgeable, and very proud of his heritage

Highly Recommend this Day Trip- Just book it! - This was a truly amazing day trip, thanks to Alex! We stayed in Florence and took the day trip to Pisa, San Gimignano, and then Sienna. My husband and I tried to drive to San Gimignano on our honeymoon (many years ago) and trust me Alex's day trip is the way to go, don't do this on your own. Alex picked us up at our flat and gave us the insider stories about Italy and the surrounding areas. He dropped us off at each location- gave us time to enjoy the sites - then returned to pick us up. We didn't have to worry about parking or anything at all, just enjoyed the trip and the cities we were visiting. Alex was professional and delightful (he spoke fluent English) HIGHLY RECOMMEND the PRIVATE Full-Day Tour of Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena from Florence, worth every cent!
