• Pisa - The driver will be ready at 8:00 AM at the cruise ship or hotel to start a memorable and comfortable journey through Tuscany. The day begins with a visit to the renowned city of Pisa, where there will be plenty of time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower. Situated in the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli, visitors can also appreciate other architectural wonders like the Baptistery and the grand Cathedral. The Tower began leaning during its 12th-century construction due to the soft ground unable to support its weight. The tilt worsened until the 14th century when construction was completed. From 1993 to 2001, stabilization efforts reduced its tilt to a safer 3.97 degrees, ensuring this global treasure is preserved for future generations. On the way to Pisa, the journey passes by the Apuan Alps, known for their stunning marble quarries, where the finest Carrara marble—used by artists like Michelangelo—is sourced.

• Piazzale Michelangelo - Following Pisa, the tour proceeds to Florence. The next stop is Piazzale Michelangelo, offering the best panoramic view of Florence. This square, dedicated to the Renaissance sculptor Michelangelo, features bronze replicas of some of his famous marble works found elsewhere in Florence, including the David and the four allegories from the Medici Chapel of San Lorenzo. After taking in the breathtaking views and exploring the square, the tour continues into the heart of Florence.

• Florence - After enjoying the stunning view from Piazzale Michelangelo, the tour moves into Florence’s historic center. The driver will guide visitors to the city’s most iconic sights before allowing three hours of free time to explore the birthplace of the Renaissance.

• Next, we will move on to Florence for a three-hour free walking tour. Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance and is renowned for its culture, art, and architecture. The city boasts numerous museums and art galleries, including the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Medici Chapels, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Piazzale Michelangelo, and the Uffizi Gallery.

If you prefer not to walk for long distances, our driver can stop in front of the main monuments with our minivan. The return is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
