Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Ollantaytambo is a village in the Sacred Valley of south Peru, set on the Urubamba River amid snow-capped mountains. Day 1: Pisac, Ollantaytambo & Aguas Calientes
pick up from your Cusco hotel and head to Pisac. Here, your guide introduces you to the preserved Inca walls that surrounds the city and shows you Andean textiles on the market. Continue through the sacred valley on the Andes to Ollantaytambo, where there was the last battle to defend the inca empire. In the afternoon, board a train to Aguas Calientes, where you stay for the night.
Day 2: Machu Picchu & Return to Cusco
board a bus and head to Machu Picchu, known as the Lost City of the Incas. Follow your guide on a tour of the World Heritage Site, learn about the people who once lived there, and then spend some free time exploring on your own. When your time in Machu Picchu is through, return to Aguas Calientes and drive back to Cusco.
