DAY 01: CUSCO – PISAQ – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES

Pisac - After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up at 08:00 am for your tour to the Sacred Valley of the inkas. In a tourist bus we travel over the mountains and then we drop 1500 feet to the valley floor of the sacred Urubamba river and the village of Pisac where we will visit a traditional market and you can buy some local souveniers. We then drive up to explore the extensive ruins of Pisac with stunning views over the valley. For those who would prefer to spend more time in the market instead of visiting the ruins, advise your guide so he can organise a time and place to pick you up when they return through the market.

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - We continue on to Urubamba where we stop for a buffet lunch. A further 40 mins drive takes us to Ollantaytambo surrounded by the sacred mountains, where we will again discover the magnificence of the Incan constructions and the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress. You will then be escorted to the train station to board the valley train. This is a 1.5 hr journey to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, you will be welcomed by our hotel staff and South American Exclusive Tours Peru guide who will assist, take you to the hotel and brief you all concerning for the next day guided tour. After check in at the hotel, the balance of the day is all yours at leisure.

DAY 2. MACHUPICCHU GUIDED TOUR – CUSCO (B)

Machupicchu District - After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up and take you to the bus station to board the bus and take a short ride up to the main entrance gate of Machu Picchu to begin a unique experience by exploring one of the New Seven Wonders of the World accompanied with our professional South American Exclusive Tours Peru guide who will share with you all his knowledge about the history, traditions and more that surrounds this mysterious and enigmatic Inca citadel. Once the guided tour is over, you will have extra free time to explore the marvelous of Machupicchu on your own. After you end up your visit, board the bus down to Aguas Calientes for Lunch (not included) and enjoy some extra time at the town to get some local souvenirs and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo train station where our staff will be waiting for you and transferred in our private transport back to your Cusco hotel and end your tour to Machu Picchu.
