The best first-time surfing experience we could ask for! - 10/10 experience. Truly a great event that our entire family enjoyed. The instructors were caring, kind, fun, and especially with my little kid, took care of them so I could focus on my surfing. I never had a moment where I felt like I couldn't have fun, my kids were not watched, or that as an adult getting judged. It was truly about getting in the water, catching waves, and a positive, FUN experience. When we scheduled we originally booked for an afternoon, but had to reschedule to another morning due to weather conditions- it was super easy to do so. When we arrived that morning, everything was well organized, punctual, time was kept, and they made sure to maximize our time on the boards and in the water.

First time surfers! - My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with our surf lessons. It was our first time. The instructors were super positive and patient. They give you wet suits and boards. Before you head out into the surf they have you stretch, warm up, and give you a tutorial on the proper form. The instructors are out there with you helping and encouraging you the entire time, but they also give space to go at your own pace. Surfing isn’t easy but we caught a lot of waves. Awesome experience would recommend to everyone!

Amazing experience! - My 2 teenagers had an incredible time. Jon was so friendly and his team of instructors went above and beyond to make sure the boys felt confident and they were up on their board in no time. We specially love that they made sure that each instructor only had up to three students so everyone got plenty of attention. We first had scheduled for only one class but the boys enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming back on the next day too.

Best Day Ever - My 2 sons (18 and 17) had huge smiles on their faces when they finished their lesson. They both said they had a wonderful time. The instructor was very supportive and patient. Highly recommend.

July Surf Experience - Very positive and energizing instructors who will support you the whole time. As first timers, my partner and I were very comfortable. The waves are good in the morning.

Great experience - Best surf school on the Central Coast. Love Jonny and his crew. They are knowledgeable, patient and fun. Did I mention reasonable compared to others on the Central Coast. Pismo is a great beach for beginners as well asas well as intermediate surfers

Fun times at Pismo Beach - My first time surfing, and Sandbar Surf made it an awesome experience. The two teachers were helpful and patient, and they made sure everyone got up on their boards and were safe. Thanks dudes!

It was great because of the instructors but could be improved because of the organization - It was great but they have to notify us to meet at least 30 minutes before at the meeting point to prepare and put on a wetsuit, which takes time.
